* {{Narm}}: The Benny hallucination can be a little silly and hard to take seriously, as the therapist (actually a Pah-Wraith) acts cartoonishly sinister and apathetic about Benny's writing, and denounces his stories as "meaningless words that no one cares about". It makes it seem like the wraiths have never heard of creative writing of any sort and don't understand how attached writers can get to their own work (and especially considering the obssessive fan community that ''Trek'' itself has).

** Quark in this episode thinks he's owed an apology from Worf because he's here to help Jadzia enter Sto-Vo-Kor, yet he does nothing to deserve it. He continually antagonizes Worf, tries to make the mission [[ItsAllAboutMe about himself]], and won't take a hint to shut up. Imagine a guy at a woman's funeral trying to get her grieving husband to admit his dead wife fancied him better. It's a wonder Worf didn't rip his throat out.

** To ensure The Sisko's very existence, what did the Prophets do? They took over the body of a completely unwilling woman, forced her to romance Joe Sisko, marry him, and bear his child. Then, a month afterwards, they left her body and she immediately left Joe, never to see him again. The fact that Sisko never calls out the Prophets on this (and Kassidy even calls it "beautiful" when she finds out!) angered quite a few fans.

In other words, they committed DemonicPossession on Sarah and [[BedTrick rape by deception]] on Joseph.
