** In the first Lockdown Town they're seen passing through, Mister's first order of business seems to be making sure Martin check over by a doctor, even over-paying for the service with medicine because the doctor said see needed all of it for her patients. He also makes sure Martin gets a hair cut later on. Both of actions proving that, despite Mister's surliness and generally rough demeaner, he is a very capable and caring ParentalSubstitute to his young protege.
** Mister digging a grave for Sister's fallen fellow nun so she can have a proper burial and give Sister some closure. He even removes his hat (a common sign of respect) during the makeshift. Somewhat more humorously, Martin's narration reveals Mister still yanked out the dead vampire nun's fangs but respectfully waited until Sister couldn't see him do it.
