* AssPull: A magnificent, staggering one happens when it turns out [[spoiler:all that was needed to save Satan, God and the entire universe was a man who knew the awful truth and still made a HeroicSacrifice]] - a veritable DeusExMachina that hadn't been even started to be foreshadowed in the entire book. While the story had somewhat hinted that [[spoiler:Jesus might have had a chance to save the day had not dispaired at the worst possible moment]], it never really explained whether and how was this even possible, or that in reality [[spoiler:any human being in the right position had the potential to do it himself]], or in that case, why did Satan [[spoiler:wait 2,000 years before trying to manipulate events so to stage it again.]] The result is that, while it certainly makes for a heartwarming SurprisinglyHappyEnding, it's impossible not to feel at least a bit cheated.
