Despite putting up the façade of a respectable and professional man trying to [[TheLudovicoTechnique recondition his students into better members of society]], Igaya is secretly a PsychopathicManchild himself; lording over his "precious" Shibuya; trying to punish the protagonists for helping their classmates escape out of sheer spite; and is all but stated to have murdered the original developer of Shibuya in the real world when he got in his way.
