* RealismInducedHorror: There is nothing supernatural in this movie, but Satan Man is a horrifying monster who commits murder on the fly for fun, even killing a cat to paint with its blood. He spends most of his screen time with a naïve boy who wants to be a good helper and molests his beautiful sister when she mistaking thinks he's her boyfriend, even attempting to rape her before interrupted. The fact that he's still a normal human under that mask makes him even more horrifying.

* CrossesTheLineTwice: Satan Man LOVES doing this.

* {{Narm}}: The fact that the in-universe video game, "Satan's Little Helper" is shown to be very popular and addicting despite not even being up to Website/{{Newgrounds}} standards, visually.

* SpecialEffectsFailure: The in-universe "Satan's Little Helper" video game. It looks like something created by someone using Adobe Flash for the first time in their life.

* {{Squick}}: Dougie wants to marry Jenna his SISTER.
** their mother shows a few incestuous desires towards her daughter, including giving her her "Renaissance slut" costume, and spanking her while she's bent over at the window.
* TheWoobie: Alex. He gets abused by his father, both verbally and physically, Dougie hates him even though he tries hard to get along with him, he repeatedly gets beaten up by "Satan," and [[spoiler: is ultimately killed by his own girlfriend after "Satan" knocks him out and places him in his costume.]]
** Jenna herself does have it any better. Her brother befriends a serial killer that then proceeds to molest her taking advantage of her thinking he is her boyfriend Alex. He would've raped her hadn't Dougie interrupted the "intimate" moment. She then realizes the man who gropped her is not her boyfriend and not just that but he is also a dangerous serial killer who eventually kills her father and tricks her into killing her own boyfriend. She has her entire life ruined by the end of the movie... [[spoiler:assuming she wasn't killed at the end]].

* UncannyValley: There's something strangely off about the Jesus costume that "Satan" changes into. It actually looks much more unsettling than his Satan costume.
* WhatAnIdiot: Ugh ... Dougie. Sure, he's a kid, but between ''somehow'' being convinced that all of "Satan's" crimes were simulated and [[spoiler:getting his father killed]] and most likely [[spoiler:the rest of his family, and himself,]] it's difficult not to think he's a total idiot.

* BigLippedAlligatorMoment: The scene where Alex confronts Satan Man, asks him if he's his father (while Satan entered his father's house earlier, there's indication Alex might have seen both inside the house), Satan nods positively, takes Alex's gun, shoots his own hand, and gives it back to Alex, who then just stands there confused as Satan leaves.

* CompleteMonster: This [[SlidingScaleOfComedyAndHorror horror-comedy's]] [[NoNameGiven unnamed]], [[MalevolentMaskedMen masked]], [[SilentAntagonist silent]] killer dressed up as {{Satan}}, unlike most silent horror villains, has a clear personality, which he shows by communicating through various gestures and body language. "Satan" manipulates a boy named Dougie into aiding him in a killing spree, with Dougie thinking it's all make believe. Over the course of the film, he kills many people in creative and sadistic ways, even burning down an entire police station and poisoning the drinks at a Halloween party, all of this seemingly ForTheEvulz. At the end, he tricks Dougie’s sister Jenna and her mother into killing Jenna’s boyfriend Alex, who he had knocked out and placed in his costume.

** Later, after shoplifting and stabbing a clerk, he hits a pregnant woman, [[WouldHurtAChild a baby]], and a blind man with a shopping cart. All the while, Dougie is shouting, [[BlackComedy "50 points! 100 points!"]]

Although Dougie finds he's crossed this in-universe when [[spoiler: he kills his father]]. He had no reason to do this since Dougie has been nothing but helpful and friendly to him, this was all ForTheEvulz.
