These buildings will automatically spawn a large group of fully leveled infantry and archers to attack any enemies who get into range of the Town Defense. While having these upgraded buildings are great for defending your base, it is a severe annoyance to assault an enemy base which is full of Town Defenses.

** Units will automatically split from formation and into individuals when on ships and walls. This completely removes any training/formation bonuses. This is especially crippling for the Greeks, Romans, Persians; as these factions rely on these bonuses in their strategies.
