* InferredHolocaust: Because [[NoEnding the movie ends right after Fenton dies]], we have no idea what kind of performance review headquarters handed down to the police force for their sloppy work and the ensuing tragedy that resulted from it, nor do we see any of what must have been a considerable outpouring of grief from the families of the three murdered teenagers ''and'' the murdered adults besides.

After finding out that a crazed killer who is obsessed with Donna has just escaped from prison, the police and Donna's aunt and uncle still let her attend prom, and only put a handful of security guys there to keep watch over her. He finally attempts to kill Donna as he is about to get gunned down by police.

After his arrest, and Donna had to identify him, he realizes she's there and terrorizes her by claiming [[{{Determinator}} he will get her no matter what]]. When he breaks out, he stalks Donna and her friends at the prom, killing attendents, and employees at the hotel that prom is being held. When the police close in on him, he manages to escape to Donna's house. [[spoiler: He manages to succeed in killing Donna's boyfriend, Ronnie, before finally being killed by the poilice.]]
