** Scrozzle is also pretty popular, due to his original character design, as well as his snarky, eccentric personality. Many are disappointed that Hasbro doesn't currently have any plans to produce a Scrozzle action figure. [[spoiler: Given that he's taken prisoner by Grid Battleforce rather than destroyed at the end of ''Beast Morphers'', many fans anticipate him showing up in a future ''Dino Fury'' team-up.]]

*** It should also be noted that none of Ben and Betty's antics involve any fart jokes like the ones that made Victor and Monty infamous among fans, making the former two more popular.

*** Also the moral lessons tend to be a bit more complex and less black-and-white. "Tools of the Betrayed," for example, teaches us not to lie, while simultaneously driving home the message that we shouldn't let an innocent lie destroy our trust in each other. "Game On!" makes a clear distinction between cheating in a video game versus exploiting an enemy's vulnerability in a real life battle, thereby avoiding the CluelessAesop problem that the ''Ninja Steel'' episode "Live and Learn" fell into.

** There is no Ranger-exclusive Megazord cockpit armor, which had been an unfortunate staple for most of the Neo-Saban era. In fact, Hasbro recreated the Go-Busters cockpit so accurately that it's almost impossible to tell it apart from stock footage.
** After five years of the same MakeMyMonsterGrow method (a laser shot from space), fans were relieved that the method this time is something different (in this case, aping Go-Busters and creating a giant version of the monster that's different from the normal monster and can even attack at the same time).

* IdiotPlot: The entire story hinges on using the Morphin Grid, and its residual Morph X energy, as a free and clean energy source, which the villains then have to use to sustain themselves, Evox in particular. Despite the dangers involved with its continued use because it could fit into the villain's plans (and does), the world not only ignores these problems, but ''builds multiple towers'' after the initial success. And they also can shut them down at will, yet after [[spoiler:Evox is separated from Mayor Daniels]] they just swap them back on instead of starving Evox out, without even so much as a HandWave of the energy being that important. Not only does [[spoiler:Evox/Venjix end up using all that power at his disposal to become a PhysicalGod for the final battle,]] but in the end, [[spoiler:the world abandons Morph X ''after'' all the danger has passed in favor of a GreenAesop of more normal yet clean energy sources, instead of learning from their stupidity and screw-ups, meaning this entire plot element just serves to be a story-driving MacGuffin with no personal payoff whatsoever and making humanity seem like absolute buffoons all series long.]]

** [[spoiler:During "Making Bad" sees Robo-Roxy state bringing back Lord Zedd would be a bad idea as he'd turn on them all. [[Series/PowerRangersDinoFury Reghoul didn't get this memo and, as per Robo-Roxy's words, it bit him in the ass once Zedd was freed from the compliance collar]].]]

** [[spoiler:The last two episodes have pretty much confirmed that Evox is indeed Venjix from RPM, finally resolving an 11-year cliffhanger that most fans have given up on]].

** [[spoiler:During "Making Bad" sees Robo-Roxy state bringing back Lord Zedd would be a bad idea as he'd turn on them all. [[Series/PowerRangersDinoFury Reghoul didn't get this memo and it bit him in the ass]].]]

** The Beast Bots barring Steel certainly count, given how they're DemotedToExtra in comparison to their Sentai counterparts, who were major characters. They had major relevance in earlier episodes, but after Steel's introduction, they weren't nearly as featured. The closest was Cruise, but even then he was mostly there to remind viewers the Beast Bots exist.

* ItsShortSoItSucks: The main criticism of the theme song, as it's the first in a long while to only be around 30 seconds long. Notable in that it's courtesy of contested ''Power Rangers'' theme song composer Noam Kaniel, whose contributions during the Neo-Saban Era were generally agreed to have been... less than stellar (''Samurai'' and ''Megaforce'' in particular, as they're literally rehashes of "[[Series/MightyMorphinPowerRangers Go Go Power Rangers]]" with very little else to them substantially). Thus far, the ''Beast Morphers'' theme's length has been the only real complaint fans have had this time around.

* BaseBreakingCharacter: Ben and Betty are this. Some find them an improvement over Victor and Monty thanks to them actually trying to help the rangers, while others find them just as annoying because their antics rarely factor into the plot.

* ContinuityLockout: A major problem with the second season. The amount of nods to previous seasons often outweighs any actual explanation for new viewers, not to mention the show’s big last-second twist relies on the target audience knowing the significance of a character from a show that came and went before the target audience was even born. [[spoiler:Namely that Evox is actually a reborn [[AIIsACrapshoot Venjix]], the BigBad of one the darkest Power Rangers series: Series/PowerRangersRPM.]]

** Although the fanbase seems very excited for the upcoming adaptation of ''Kyoryuger vs. Go-Busters'', [[http://www.thathashtagshow.com/2019/05/17/exclusive-dino-thunder-team-not-to-return-for-power-rangers-beast-morphers-team-up/ reports]] that none of the cast from ''Dino Thunder'' are returning (at least not in person) have left many unhappy - especially among those who believe that the Disney Era is already treated as the black sheep of the franchise.[[note]]This may not necessarily be the show's fault since James Napier (Conner) and Emma Lahana (Kira) reportedly doesn't want to be involved in ''Power Rangers'' anymore . Also, the showrunners reportedly made early efforts to get Kevin Duhaney (Ethan), Jason David Frank (Tommy) and Jeffrey Parazzo (Trent) onboard, but those plans, for whatever reason, fell through (in the case of JDF, it's rumored that friction between Austin St. John and JDF may be the cause of this). Also not helping the matter is that the movie footage doesn't include the ranger forms of the latter two.[[/note]]

* TheyWastedAPerfectlyGoodCharacter: Some fans feel that Human Blaze and Human Roxy don't get nearly enough screen time or character development, considering they spent a whole season in a coma and awaken to find that they've been replaced with untrained rookies as rangers. The following season their reaction to Evox using their Avatar personalities in regenerating robots amounts to "that's freaky", and then it's never touched on except for [[spoiler: a single episode near the season's end where Robo-Blaze impersonates the real one]].
** The Beast Bots barring Steel certainly count, given how they're DemotedToExtra in comparison to their Sentai counterparts, who were major characters.

*** It also leads into another minor one: [[spoiler:After the rather [[AntiClimaxBoss anti-climatic]] [[ColonyDrop way]] Venjix was defeated at the end of ''RPM'', he finally gets a defeat worthy of his character courtesy of the ''Go-Buster'' [[EvilIsBigger Messiah Reboot]] fight footage]].

* ToughActToFollow: Due to the successful popularity the show has seen, it unfortunately means that Hasbro has already set a high bar for themselves with their first incarnation, meaning that the upcoming ''Power Rangers Dino Fury'' has a lot to live up to.

* HarsherInHindsight: A politician walking around in public while secretly infected with a dangerous virus... in the midst of the UsefulNotes/CoronavirusDisease2019Pandemic. Granted, it's a ''computer'' virus, but still.
** On a related note, the episode "Boxed In" was originally intended to be a tribute to the [[UsefulNotes/OlympicGames 2020 Olympic Games]], which were postponed to 2021 due to the pandemic.

* BetterThanCanon: Between the above {{Authors Saving Throw}}s, [[spoiler:an American adaptation of ''Series/SpaceSheriffGavan'', an epic three-episode team-up with all the past Dino Ranger teams (with the return of Austin St. John as Jason), the return of one of the greatest villains in the ''Power Rangers'' franchise, and closure to a TheEndOrIsIt ending that fans have all but given up on]], it's safe to say that ''Beast Morphers'' is definitely on-par or even outshines ''Go-Busters''.
