* MomentOfAwesome: Dan exposing that lying bitch who claims she had an affair with Nathan on live TV.

*** Particularly after he tries to ''kill himself'' because he's paralysed and can't play basketball anymore. Hey ''asshole'', you have a doting wife and a loving son?! [[WhatTheHellHero What the hell?!]]
** Dan. The guy frequently shows he is unrepentant for killing Keith, instead seeming to use it as a way to bask as TheWoobie. And they continue to let him back into their life. Made worse when they ''defend'' him when a rival cafe puts up a sign saying "Karen's cafe hires murderers". While it's cruel and slanderous to do, you have to give it to them, they're honestly ''right''.

* DidNotDoTheResearch: In Series 7, Nathan is shown not to have cheated on Haley by way of a lie detector test. Something that has been inadmissable evidence in court since the ''60's'' for being so inaccurate.
** A good example. Lucas could be asked what colour the sky is and it'd always come back as a lie, because his heart condition would throw off the results. Its ''that'' easy to beat.

*** He gets quite a few actually - Two that spring to mind are using a lie detector test to prove that Nathan didn't cheat on Haley in season 7, and effortlessly destroying the motive the Tree Hill police had for him being the one to kidnap Nathan.
*** His best moment though comes when he rescues Nathan from his kidnappers

* CrowningMomentOfHeartwarming: [[spoiler:After Dan dies, Keith's spirit arrives to guide him into the afterlife & letting Dan know that he forgives him for muddering him, and he's proud of the man Dan became after that in his attempt to atone; topped off when Dan muses that he knows where Keith's going, but probably won't be joining him, and Keith simply tells his younger brother that he's his "Plus One"]].

* CrowningMomentOfHeartwarming: [[spoiler:After Dan dies, Keith's spirit arrives to guide him into the aftermath & letting Dan know that he forgives him for muddering him, and he's proud of the man Dan became after that in his attempt to atone; topped off when Dan muses that he knows where Keith's going, but probably won't be joining him, and Keith simply tells his younger brother that he's his "Plus One"]].

* HollywoodHomely: ''Millie!'' Millicent Huxtable was made out to be a complete PlainJane who guys never really looked at, until she met Mouth. Millie is actually very beautiful, but apparently no guy could see it because wearing glasses somehow makes you invisible to every guy except Mouth.

* TheWesley: Majority of One Tree Hill fans think Quinn as this.

* TheScrappy: Peyton for most of the Brooke fans. Brooke and Lindsay for most of the Peyton fans. Lucas for everyone sick and tired of him having love revelations about a different girl every week. Mouth for just about everyone, after Seasons 5 and 6. Nathan also has some pretty vocal haters. And Jamie, a six-year-old, [[{{CousinOliver}} has a lot of haters too]].

** the VerySpecialEpisode very Jimmy yelling "The school's on lockdown!" is funny if you think about it.

* CompleteMonster: The show has a number of surprisingly disturbing, twisted villains for a teen soap, including [[spoiler: Ian "Psycho Derek" Banks]], loan shark Daunte Jones, and deranged stalker "Nanny Carrie", all of whom skirt this trope. However, only [[spoiler:Xavier "Ex" Daniels crosses enough lines to indisputably enter this trope, being responsible for assaults, murders, kidnappings, and other crimes, in addition to displaying a disturbingly sadistic personality throughout.]]

** {{YMMV}} but the VerySpecialEpisode very Jimmy yelling "The school's on lockdown!" is funny if you think about it.
