* SugarWiki/AwesomeMusic: "Va, pensiero" is one of the most famous pieces of music to come out of opera, and for a good reason. It manages to be at the same time rousing, solemn, and a TearJerker, was a smash hit from the very first rehearsal of ''Nabucco'', and the continued discussion over its political meaning (see below) has kept it into the popular consciousness. It's also one of the few famous pieces of operatic music which is a chorus and not an aria (i.e., a solo), inviting the audience to sing along and giving it an undeniable anthemic quality.

* SignatureSong: "Va pensiero" is one of the songs from the opera which is played the most outside of the context of the play, and one of its most recognized.
