** Haewon's supposed "attitude problems". At one fan-meeting during promotions for ''Midsummer NMIXX's Dream'', Lily, sitting far stage-left, received no gifts from fans and appeared glum, with the other members also seeming to ignore her. When footage of the meetup was posted online, outrage from her fans zeroed in on Haewon and quickly spiralled into accusations of Haewon being a bully behind the scenes and for a time she got some hate on social media. However, context clues strongly suggest Lily was simply having a bad day – they had performed on at least two shows that day VERY early in the morning and backstage footage showed she wasn't at her best then. Also, Haewon's body language on more than one occasion shows she sometimes depends on Lily to help her get over her nerves during live stages. Within one week of her contract termination, the only proof on NMIXX's Instagram that she even existed is in group shots.
* [[HeAlsoDid She Also Did]]: Before moving to Korea, Lily appeared on local television in Melbourne a few times. She also took part in an independent film shot in and around her hometown when she was 11. In early 2011, she was the subject of a short piece on Korean television about mixed-race families. And of course she was discovered and scouted by JYP due to her participation in ''K-Pop Star 4'' in which she placed fourth overall.

However, the departure of Somi from JYPE (she was also slated to be a member) coupled with a retooling of ITZY's concept to be more dance/rap focused meant Lily was no longer a good fit for the group and she had to wait another three years to debut.

** Jiwoo — During the few months between her qualifying videos and debut, she gained a small amount of weight – not nearly as much as Twice's Jihyo had in 2015, but enough to notice – and Korean netizens attacked her mercilessly for being "too fat to be an Idol" and expressed shock and disgust that JYP would debut her. Note that Jiwoo was '''16''' at the time. They were fat-shaming an underage girl who was still growing and was not fat by any standard – she just had chubby cheeks and not-stick thighs. That some magazines photoshopped her legs to look thinner didn't help (''that'' caused her fans to justifiably flip out). Unsurprisingly, this all took a toll on the poor girl, who did lose weight over summer and autumn 2022 but also lost a lot of her bubbly mannerisms.
** Jinni — She was probably the member most affected by the harshness of Knetz. It got to the point that her personality flipped from extrovert to introvert and she openly admitted that she had lost confidence in her dancing and singing abilities. Note she had the second-longest training period of the members – only Lily had been at JYPE longer – and fans often praised her excellent dancing.
** Sullyoon – Slams against her are not as extreme as what Jiwoo and Jinni faced, but cut harder due to her very introverted personality. Universally regarded as a sweetheart and also one of the smartest members, she was attacked by stans of other Idol groups for her unrealistic body proportions. In fact, she has ''always'' had a long neck and lanky limbs, and her eyes have ''always'' been that big. There is no proof she has had cosmetic surgery (she was barely old enough for it when JYPE began teasing NMIXX).
*** She was the member closest to Jinni – they often mentioned each other on Bubble. Once JYPE and their allies at [=MNet=] began deleting Jinni from history following her contract termination, some footage of Sullyoon ended up on the cutting room floor simply by association.

** Jiwoo — During the few months between her qualifying videos and debut, she gained a small amount of weight – not nearly as much as Twice's Jihyo had in 2015, but enough to notice – and Korean netizens attacked her mercilessly for being "too fat to be an Idol" and expressed shock and disgust that JYP would debut her. Note that Jiwoo was '''16''' at the time. They were fat-shaming an underage girl who wasn't even fat. That some magazines photoshopped her legs to look thinner didn't help (''that'' caused her fans to justifiably flip out). Unsurprisingly, this all took a toll on the poor girl, who did lose weight over summer and autumn 2022 but also lost a lot of her bubbly mannerisms.
** Jinni — She was probably the member most affected by the harshness of Knetz. It got to the point that her personality flipped from extrovert to introvert and she openly admitted that she had lost confidence in her dancing and singing abilities. Note she had the second-longest training period of the members – only Lily had been at JYPE longer.

** Lily — Mostly the victim of concern-trolling by "fans" who think she would have been better off bolting JYPE with her friend Somi and becoming a soloist… never mind that Lily said publicly multiple times during her trainee days she would rather be in a group. On a more serious note, some Knetz call her "ugly"; this is due entirely to her being mixed-race (she's one of the few mixed Idols at JYPE – fellow Aussies Bang Chan and Felix of Music/StrayKids are full-Korean).
