** Some fans feel that Wrangler, Hard Hat and Dandy Grandeur could have returned to learn a lesson about properly working with a client with a certain vision, and that them being experts in their own fields does not mean that they get to override their client's decisions, instead of being fired and disappearing from the plot entirely midway through the episode.
** The portrayal of a giraffe as a non-sentient species didn't sit well with some people, who have envisioned them as a sentient race within the world of Equestria. May count as a ContinuitySnarl or a FlipFlopOfGod when taking into account the show's crew has firmly stated that only hooved animals like the ponies themselves (and certain mythical creatures too) are sapient enough to achieve speech -- and that giraffes are hooved animals.
