** A similar moment to the above occurs in the third secret ending: After Mochi and Juju have their fight, [[spoiler:Mochi goes back to the Warren and encounters the Junior Guard and Snooty Rabbit, then she explains what happened. Junior Guard tries to comfort her in a chivalrous manner, leading Snooty Rabbit to think "She's a little young for you, bro...."]]

* AudienceAlienatingEnding: Some people were unsatisfied with the ending of Chapter 6 as [[spoiler:Mochi gives up on finding who wrecked her garden and leaves]]. Nami [[https://cohost.org/nomnomnami/post/5815316-cw-treat-spoilers came out saying]] that the third secret ending was [[AuthorsSavingThrow made for those people]] so they see what happens [[spoiler:if Mochi doesn't let go]].

* BrokenBase: While fans were okay with the ending of Chapter 6 [[spoiler:not revealing the garden vandal to give a VengeanceFeelsEmpty lesson of sorts]], others felt dissatisfied with it.

** Same thing with Eleni. Outcast to rabbits and witches, crazy but cool to fans.

* UnderusedGameMechanic: In Chapter 5, Treat's third dream is presented in the form of a visual novel with SugarWiki/AwesomeArt. Sadly, this is the sole segment where this is used in the whole series.

* AngstWhatAngst: Candy doesn't seem too bothered talking about the old pack to Trick in Chapter 4. This might not look like a big deal considering the other wolves around her are the same but when you find out about [[spoiler:her fight with Tundra in the first bad ending]], it would make you question it.

* HarsherInHindsight:
** Trick's "Did you really abandon me too?" comment while they're at their master's house. It seems to refer to Treat at first, but a Q&A strip in the webcomic reveals they were abandoned by their biological parents, making the comment a lot sadder.
** Moxie's failed attempts to flirt with Treat and Mochi are PlayedForLaughs at first, but they become less funny once it's shown that it affects her already pummeling self-esteem badly.
** Another one concerning Moxie is a specific interaction in "Friendly Bunny Mochi" triggered by checking Mochi's mailbox while accompanied by Moxie. Upon seeing the money sent to Mochi by her parents, the fox girl is left in disbelief over how Mochi doesn't like being pampered by her parents. It's played off as a joke that Moxie is greedy, but the revelation of her horrible relationship with her mother in the following game casts a different light on this.
** In chapter 1, Treat asks Boreas if he saw any other wolves during his travels, and Boreas says he probably wouldn't be standing there if he did. Treat is worried by this at first, but then concedes that yes, the wolves might have tried to eat him. In chapter 1's [[spoiler:bad ending, the first dead rabbit is implied to be Boreas. And Treat herself gets to eat him]].
** Anyone who thought Mochi looks adorable because of her bangs covering one eye will likely cringe at the revelation that [[spoiler:she was using them to hide her heterochromia that made her a target of bullying by other rabbits. And she did this because Juju told her to as well]]. Yikes.
** Juju's speech to Mochi in the second chapter about how many friends and family members they lost to predators in past years. You'd think the revelation that [[spoiler:Juju's father Mango being alive this whole time]] makes the speech a counterargument against Juju, but the hurt of the DramaticIrony is more overwhelming.
** Because she doesn't seem like the usual type of characters associated with it, Candy's EarNotch would seem like something she was born with as a subversion of the tropes. The secret ending shows [[spoiler:that she got it from fighting off the old pack's leader, who tried to stop them from leaving]]. Ouch.
** In [[https://another-piece-of-candy.thecomicseries.com/comics/9 Treat's "What's your type?" comic strip]], her answer will likely make you think of [[ThePollyanna Trick]], so it becomes a little sadder when [[https://another-piece-of-candy.thecomicseries.com/comics/113/ Trick's own strip of the same question]] implies they're aromantic. Even moreso after the seventh chapter reveals that Treat ''did'' think she liked Trick, and the latter ''is'' indeed aromantic.
** Seeing Mochi [[spoiler:be hostile and hateful towards Treat in the first bad ending because she thinks she killed Juju]] hits hard after seeing all the progression of their relationship throughout the series, especially since it all happened because of one minor change that led to them never meeting.

Added DiffLines:

** In the first secret ending, we see Moxie chasing Mochi into the cabin [[spoiler:that Treat would've moved to]], telling Mochi that she will wait for her because she wants to eat a cute girl. It's a fleeting moment that's there to hint at Moxie's feelings for Mochi but since this is all happening during what is supposed to be [[spoiler:a dark ending]] can take you out of the moment.
