* TheyWastedAPerfectlyGoodCharacter:
** Vernita Green has the least screen-time, lack characterization compares to the other DVAS and is killed off early into the film (despite actually being the ''second'' DVAS to go down). The fact that she is probably pregnant herself during the time she killed the Bride is also never addressed.
** Sofie Fatale disappeared after part I despite being very much alive and has justified reason to team up against the Bride.

** But that personality was not inherited from aliens, but from human upbringing. The kind, caring, unwaveringly just, but a little dorky personality was imbued by his human foster parents. Batman on the other hand, does fit this description, as Batman is disguised as Bruce Wayne, not the other way around.

** Actually, Bill had it exactly right. Superman is is true personality, his real self, he only pretends to be Clark Kent. He is not really human, he is really an alien, so his human persona is his disguise.

* CreepyAwesome: A few examples from both films. There's O-Ren, Go-Go Yubari and the Yakuza man who kills O-Ren's father, as well as Elle Driver and Budd to a degree.

** And thanks to the advent of blu-ray, there's a cheapie release that allows you to watch both volumes back to back, without even having to change discs. What it lacks in special features, it makes up for with said gimmick.

* CriticalResearchFailure: Either on the part of the writers or on the part of Bill himself, but his speech about Superman and how Clark Kent is the disguise, not Superman, is something anybody with even a passing knowledge of Superman will know is wrong, since he was raised as a human on earth and the Clark Kent identity predates the Superman identity by roughly two decades.

* HilariousInHindsight: Lucy Liu aka O-Ren Ishii would later go on to provide voiceovers in WesternAnimation/KungFuPanda, where her character was proficient in kung fu and viper; which in China is known as a ''Bai-Bu-She'' or ''"Hundred-Step-Snake"'' (the amount of time it takes the venom to kill you), or more colloquially in the west as a "Cottonmouth."
