Added without thread approval.

* CompleteMonster: Almost ''every'' head honcho in the Tojitendo Dynasty's hierarchy is so utterly ''heinous'' that the heroes have all but lost their patience with their machinations, with only Stacy and Vroon being one of the few affable associates of the group's reign.
** Great King Boccowaus: an iron-fisted tyrant who dictates his entire world and is so vindictive even ''ridiculously minor slights'' are enough to warrant a ''death sentence'', and he'll regularly abuse his underlings if failure shows up in their schemes. Combined with arrogance and sheer apathy towards everyone but himself and Gege, and you have someone who is the very antithesis to the Zenkaigers' beliefs.
** Ijirude doesn't fare much better, with egomania and utter contempt for other beings that rivals that of his king. Perfectly willing to sell others out to save his own skin while pirating ideas for his own use, Ijirude is essentially a watered-down Tenjuro Banno, and the unwanted modifications he makes to Isao Goshikida's body only increases his vile reputation.
** And then there's Barashitara, who not only kidnaps women from other worlds to forcibly conceive with them, but he also ''kills them off'' shortly after, either by abandoning them or taking their lives with his own hands. To add to this sickening cycle, any child he conceives during these sessions will ''also'' get slain by his hand whenever they come for revenge, and it's blatantly stated that he does this purely for ''kicks''. Adding in the Tojitendo Dynasty's apathetic and SocialDarwinist views and you get one of the most morally ''despicable'' generals in all of ''Sentai'' history.
* ContestedSequel: To the much beloved ''Series/MashinSentaiKiramager''. Fans of ''Zenkaiger'' like it for how wacky and different it is as a ''Sentai'' series, and for its creative episode plots. Detractors of ''Zenkaiger'' dislike it for leaning too heavily into its wackiness and lacking in drama as opposed to having more of an even balance of comedy and drama like other ''Sentai'' series, having main characters with underdeveloped and fairly cookie-cutter personalities and to a lesser degree the copious amounts of CG it uses in comparison to other ''Sentai'' series.

* ToughActToFollow: ''Zenkaiger'' had the unenviable task of not just following up the highly-regarded ''Kiramager'' in terms of chronological releases, but also the generally well-liked ''Zyuohger'' and widely-adored ''Gokaiger'' in terms of explicit anniversary seasons, all three of which were considered to have good characters and plots. Combining this with ''Zenkaiger'' focusing heavily on comedy and having criticized character writing means that whether you find ''Zenkaiger'' to be good for what it is or an outright bad season, it pales in comparison to the standard set before or after it. Amusingly, the series after ''Zenkaiger'' is much more well-received despite it's controversies.

*** If you take some notice at the scene where Zocks is hard-thinking by Kaito's bad drawing in episode 34 when he requests to find Halloween Wald's pumpkin. When Cutanner and Ricky's CGI is moving around Zock's side, there's no reflection of their movement on a window behind them. For Cutanner it may be subtle since his movement isn't so far, but for Ricky, it's barely ''more obvious'' since he moves to the other side, and his movement distance are more distant than Cutanner's.

** While Zocks himself is mired in controversy, his younger siblings quickly became a sensation amongst fans, with the Twokai Twins' ''adorable'' designs and the innately ''hilarious'' nature of their miniscule bodies making for great hijinks, which is only sweetened by their combination abilities and their childish personalities. As for ''Flint'', however, people were instantly taken by her nonchalant-yet-sweet sisterly demeanor, and the fact that she is more than willing to step into the battlefield or unleash her inner ham. Is it any wonder that whenever she assumes a ranger form there tends to be a whole lot of fanfare?

** The MonsterOfTheWeek are named ''"[[SpellMyNameWithAnS Warudo/Wald]]"'' in Japanese as a corruption of the properly spelled word "Waarudo/World" without an elongation, in an attempt to avoid copyright issues as their first monster would have [[WritingAroundTrademarks shared the same name as]] ''Kinoko/Mushroom World'' from ''VideoGame/SuperMarioBros''. [[NoPronunciationGuide Many fans and fan translators still take the term to mean "World" in English anyways]], anyways, often citing the infamously misheard/misspelled "'''[[Manga/JoJosBizarreAdventureStardustCrusaders ZA WARUDO/The World]]'''" meme as justification for them to be the same. This also resulted in the other meanings of its name being LostInTranslation.
