* FashionVictimVillain: Gigist. The designers somehow made a villain suit that's barely more threatening than [[Series/KamenRiderRevice Giff's]], and ''that'' suit was basically a graveyard party night.

** "Valvafraud" and "Valvajobber" for Valvarad, due to the Kamen Warrior suit performing sub-optimally despite being its first user Supana being advertised as TheAce, and its sole purpose thereafter (even after the upgrade to Rider) apparently being to be beaten down in order to showcase how powerful the latest antagonist is.

** Due to her attractiveness [[spoiler:and eventual defection from the villains' side]], fans have dubbed Lachesis as "Mommy Lachesis".
** "Valvafraud" for the Kamen Warrior Valvarad suit, due to it performing sub-optimally despite being its first user Supana being advertised as TheAce. [[spoiler:After Lachesis makes much better use of it in #33, it has since been redubbed "Valvajobber".]]

** Kaguya's ''very first appearance'' features him staring intensely at Gotchard and proclaiming that "[Gotchard] will be his". Not to mention his introduction to Houtaro where he emerges from a bathtub full of gemstones... Then #34 has Butler reveal to Hotaro that Kaguya sees Hotaro as a friend and was completely saddened that Hotaro truly did not remember him.

** In #35, Kaguya actually invites Sabimaru and Supana to ''get in the bathtub with him''.

* MemeticLoser: Supana notably started having a less-than-impressive track record after the initial few episodes. Despite being billed as TheAce, starting out stronger and more experienced than Houtarou, he quickly gets [[TheWorfEffect worfed]] by Kamen Rider Dread several times (while the relatively inexperienced Houtarou puts up a much better fight even prior to him getting Exgotchalibur), leading to fans declaring him a "Fraud" and [[https://twitter.com/FlameSubs_FTJD/status/1749133398696944069 analyzing every one of his fights]]. While he [[CurbStompBattle demonstrates exactly what he can do when he's granted powers on par with his rivals]] in #21, he gets worfed again by Dread once he obtains a new power up, and by Dragon Malgam in #26.

** Zein's cameo in episode 33 is this mixed with FridgeHorror. Considering the fact that Zein began [[spoiler:imprisoning humans inside Zein Cards]] in episode 5 of ''Series/KamenRiderOutsiders'', one would be left to wonder that the A.I. was observing Houtaro's bonds with the Chemies, and inspired Zein to turn innocent people into cards.

** Kajiki seems dead set on playing Juliet after Houtaro takes on the role of Romeo. Even having it pointed out to him that Juliet is a female role doesn't deter him. And then #33 has him assume the same pose as Akiko in ''Gaia Memories of Fate''[='=]s climax; the episode's production notes even state that that role is usually reserved for the ''heroine''. And ''then'' there's his quip about Kaguya smelling nice.

* BigLippedAligatorMoment: [[Series/KamenRiderOutsiders Zein]] making a cameo to kill one of the Handred executives. It comes right out of nowhere and never gets mentioned again. Many theorise the scene was inserted to advertise ''Outsiders'' (which had a new episode come out two weeks after the episode).

* ContinuityLockout: Because of Legend and Zein's appearance in #33, viewers will have to watch ''Series/KamenRiderOutsiders'' and ''Kamen Rider Gotchard VS Kamen Rider Legend'' spin-off to get an idea of who they are.

** Zein's cameo in episode 33 borderlines on this and FridgeHorror. Houtaro is rather rightfully angry at Houou for doing that and seeming to be dismissive of using the two Chemys, who Houtaro considers his friends, as nothing more than ammunition. The narrative of the episode then proceeds to paint ''Houtaro'' as the one being unreasonable and has him apologize later on, while Houou completely disregards Houtaro's feelings about the matter.

* EnsembleDarkHorse: Kamen Rider Legend has firmly established himself as this, not only for his awesomeness and eye-catching suit design, but also because out of suit, the man is peak comedy gold.

* InformedWrongness: #8 has Minato call out Houtaro for keeping Riku and Saboneedle together and blaming this on why Riku and his father has such a strained relationship. This completely glosses over the fact that said father is [[HelicopterParents Helicopter Parent]] of the highest order who makes Riku focus on his studies to the point that the boy has ''no'' friends, crossing over to an [[AbusiveParents Abusive Parent]] once he turns into a Malgam and outright ''attacks'' his own son for even associating with Houtaro and Saboneedle. Houtaro interferring the way he did is the reason why the father has a HeelRealization about how he's been treating Riku and aims to be better as a father.

* WhatDoYouMeanItsForKids: Despite its LighterAndSofter tone, a large portion of ''Gotchard''[='s=] imagery features ''very'' disturbing caricatures that remain relevant to real-life fears, including a (failed) mass-murderer, a stalker pursuing a high-school girl, and a violent thug. And it's only the ''single-digit episodes''. Reaching the ''double-digits'' basically opens the Pandora Box (maybe not [[Series/KamenRiderBuild that one]]). #20 has the lovely scene of [[spoiler:Supana ''tearing off his face'' to become a Malgam]].

* ParanoiaFuel: A carry over from ''Series/KamenRiderOutsiders'', (Kamen Rider) Zein's presence in episode 33 is a cause for alarm. Take note this that this is a [[TheComputerIsYourFriend super-intelligent A.I.]] that's able to DetectEvil to the point of placing the entire world under [[SinisterSurveillance surveillance]], and by having the powers of Kamen Riders under its beck and call; even the Hundred Organization isn't safe.

** The FreakyFridaySwitch episode revealed that one of the names Rinne came up for her Rider form before settling on Majade was Wind, derived from her father's name. Not only does Fuga later use that ''exact same moniker'' for his own Rider form, but he also uses the ''exact same equipment'' as his daughter as well.
