For the sequel, see ''YMMV/JohnnyEnglishReborn''.
----

** In the sequel, there's:
*** The chase scene in Hong Kong, and the fight scene that followed.
*** The entire wheelchair sequence, mainly since [[spoiler:Johnny managed to outrun every agent the British government could throw at him using a hi-speed wheelchair]].
*** And finally, [[spoiler: everything following Johnny's DisneyDeath all the way to him blowing up Ambrose]].
* NightmareFuel / HellIsThatNoise: In-universe, sort of; in the second movie, halfway, Johnny English gets ''nervous'' upon hearing a vacuum cleaner (fear caused by a cleaning old lady, no less).

Added DiffLines:

* CrowningMomentOfFunny: Johnny hits off the ejector seat button for his car's passenger seat with his elbow at the end. With Lorna sat in it. Cue an AlmostKiss, and a CurseCutShort from Johnny.

* UnfortunateImplications: In the sequel, upon seeing that he's been assigned a young partner with much less experience, Johnny says "Well, it'll be nice to have someone to carry the bags." This was considered fine in England, where the film was made. But apparently audiences in America, where racism is a major issue, this was believed to be a reference to the fact that the assistant is black.

* UnfortunateImplications: In the sequel. Upon seeing that he's been assigned a ''black dude'' for a partner, Johnny says "well, it'll be nice to have someone to carry the bags." It probably made it through since the next thing he does is [[LaserGuidedKarma eat something he really shouldn't.]]
** Considering Johnny's otherwise lack of any apparent racism at all (except a slight irritation at the thought of being killed by the Swiss), his comment may have been about Tucker's lack of age (and therefore useful experience), rather than his race.
*** As an English film, where racism is nowhere ''near'' as much of an issue as it in in America, this wouldn't even have caused a blip on most people's radars.
