** Curry repeatedly pronounces "New Orleans" as "New Orleens", which is obviously something a true New Orleanian (or someone who's watched ''Series/{{Treme}}'') would never do. One of the few directorial changes to voice acting in the 20th anniversary remake is to have Gabriel pronounce it "N'Awlins".

** An in-universe example, probably deliberately played up in the 20th anniversary remake, where it's far more pronounced. If Gabriel continues to bug Grace for his messages after she's read them all for him, she'll exclaim in mock melodramatic exasperation "I've given you everything I have!" Funny enough, but if you've played the whole original trilogy and know how their relationship ends up taking its toll on Grace, it's an uncomfortable bit of {{Foreshadowing}} on her part.

Thanks to the cooperation of Sierra Entertainment Inc back in 1993, PC gaming managed to take racism towards African-Americans and the African Religion of Voodoo out of the dark ages, and onto our computers. Even worse this whole game pins the entire white race against the whole black race, not to mention their tribal religion \"Voodoo\". Worse, it also goes far as negatively portraying all blacks in New Orleans as frauds, heretics, and murderers, plus whites are portrayed as valiant, honest, religious, virtuous, and racially pure. To make matters worse Hollywood’s portrayal of Voodoo as evil, corrupt, and even satanic devil worship in GK 1 is downright racist, insensitive, shameful and hurtful to Blacks not just in North America but Worldwide as well. This also, was a new technique by the mainstream media to negatively picture African American culture and its religion as satanic and at the height of America’s problems. In real life, Voodoo in a nutshell is about the idea that everything material has a spiritual dimension that is more real\" than physical reality, So everything living — but even rocks and the Earth — is considered to have spirit and have a spiritual nature. It\'s also a religion that really operates through revelation,\" she says. \"So people can receive dreams or visions, and even be possessed by spirits, and that spirit can tell them something, and that\'s the revelation. Voodoo is not just a religion born in Africa, but is worshiped both in Haiti, The U.S, Central & South America.

* SpecialEffectFailure: The Beast Within, when it comes to the Werewolves. They are completely computer generated and looked awful(but not in the intended way) when the game was released. The fact that the Normal wolves are depicted via video footage of actual wolves makes the werewolves look even worse by comparison. The damage is limited by the fact the wolf-form werewolves get relatively little screen time until the end.
