** Cynthia nearly lets Izaya die on purpose, and ''somehow'' thinks anyone would take her side or not vote her off? Even she seems to realize this later on.

** Is Nazira truly [[{{Asexuality}} Asexual]], or did she just begin believing it in order to mask her own self-pity after Kanaya decided to pursue Isabel instead?

* NeedsMoreLove: Many feel that while the story has received good attention, that too many are quickly turned off by non-fans of the main series and thus don't bother to give this one a chance.

** The fact that the story was created in order to give both fan favorites and underused characters a different interpretation was massively well received, to the creator's own surprise.
** Amber and Logan ''finally'' getting together after eleven episodes of sexual tension was instantly praised by all of the fans. Though just about every couple getting together sparks quite a bit of positive attention.

* AwesomeEgo: ''Tempest!'' An arrogant little spider who has trained all her life to be the strongest due to a hostile environment, and constantly claims herself to be the most dangerous ''demon slayer in the lands''...And it's surprisingly accurate! She's easily the strongest character in the series, constantly hunts creatures in order to claim personal rewards, and when she's determined, ''nothing'' can stop her! There's a reason she's easily the most popular character in the series.

** Gareth and Sage were heavily shipped at one point due to becoming allies. This was basically completely sunk in episode 20.

** Even his biggest haters admit that Devereux's injuries in episode 15 were so bad, that they couldn't help but feel bad for TheSociopath.

* GrowingTheBeard: Episode 15 is a ''massive'' improvement compared to everything before it. And from that point onward, characters have become more three-dimensional, have begun to develop to insane degrees, and so many interesting plot points began to form based around the contestant interactions with one another.

!!Fuzzy Memories Series

** Droog is considered easily one of the greatest antagonists in the entire TPI fandom, and by far is the most liked antagonist of the series.

** Similarly, while she may not have that much of a presence yet, Violet is similarly seem as very cute and fairly enjoyable in terms of her interactions.

* FountainOfMemes: Tyranitar has caused quite a few.

* SuspiciouslySimilarSong: Basically every song in TXWT.

** ''"Before We Die"'' isn't even ''trying'' to hide the fact it's a direct point-for-point version of the same exact song from Total Drama.

** Haazel, Izaya, and Juvia working together to take out the antagonists is dropped after one episode, leaving many rather depressed, as they thought it could have been a really fun plot line. Inverted though; In that Delta ACKNOWLEDGED this one though, and after Fuzzboy joined on, the two gave Izaya and Hazel the plot that everyone deserved. Everyone was very satisfied as a result.

** Jet and Sally during TXWT are basically living embodiments of unstoppable stupidity! ''Everything'' they do makes them seem like either idiots or psychotic, or ''both!''
* WinBACKTheCrowd: After Cynthia's elimination in TXI, a lot of fans begun to stop reading, or at least weren't nearly as supportive. Episode 15 basically won everyone back though.

* ArcFatigue: Giselle's entire plot as the BigBadWannabe is largely seen as annoying to get through and bland.
* AssPull: Sally's elimination in a nutshell.

** Hyde is this in literally every way for VERY obvious reasons.
** ''Kaden'' is potentially the most base-breaking character in the entire season. People either think he's an amusing BigBadWannabe CampGay, while a lot more seem to find him an offensive and outright unlikable prick. As of recent, he's beginning to border on becoming TheScrappy.

* CreatorsPet: Fuzzboy has admitted to Izaya being his favorite character, which might explain his status as an AscendedExtra during the merge.

** Hazel was confirmed as this when he won the most popular character as revealed in episode four.
** Due to his importance to the story and large amount of screentime, people have really grown to like Isaac, and to a lesser extent Yu.
** After his unexpected [[spoiler:early elimination]], Izaya became this, with some starting to like him due to his OnlySaneMan personality. His girlfriend Juvia also is popular due to her HiddenDepths and friendly personality. The two's popularity has grown due to the merge due to Juvia becoming an AscendedExtra and Izaya having [[spoiler:never actually left the island]].
** Tempest, due to becoming an AscendedExtra in the merge, and allowing everyone to realize how funny she could be.
** Bari is well-liked by the fanbase due to his TheScrappy status In-Universe, being seen as a sympathetic protagonist.
** Decker is already decently popular for being a NiceGuy and his love of music.
** Chad is seen as a very likable and funny LargeHam character done right.
** As far as non-contestants go, Doc is ''BELOVED'' by the fandom for being a misunderstood NiceGuy, for his ShipTease with Mimi, and just plan being hilarious.

** Izaya, who's considered possibly the strongest contestant in the series due to fending off Ursaring on the daily to keep their cave for himself. The fact that he's apparently also beaten down anybody who's ever tried to be inappropriate to Juvia also helps this reputation.

* NauseaFuel: ''SO MUCH IN THE EARLY EPISODE!''
* OneEpisodeWonder: ''Doc'' was this in SPADES! He's by far the most popular one-episode character in the entire cast, and Zetsu is also fondly remembered for his relationship with Tempest. They were popular enough to become [[AscendedExtra ascended extras]] and return in the rest of the loser episodes.

** Juvia, who basically spent the entire season not doing much, has gotten a lot more focus in the merge. It was good enough to reestablish her EnsembleDarkhorse status.

** Giselle is largely considered a very boring and one-note villain who completely lacks a real personality.
** Gareth, post FaceHeelTurn, as he's now seen as a pathetic and ultimately generic villain.

* SlowPacedBeginning: Episodes 1-14 are largely not looked upon fondly by the community, citing bland characters, a lack of real development, a lot of missed opportunities, disgusting imagery, etc. ''And then Episode 15 happened...''

** Is the entire cast being made up of original characters something that you're personally fine with, or do you think the writer is being dickishly lazy and think the story won't be as good without the OCs?

** Delphox has already become the most popular character on the show, due to people liking her portrayal as a wizard who takes their craft seriously, and thinks that she is already a contender for a potential winner.
** Combee is largely considered a fan-favorite, and nearly everyone thinks that he will be the winner.
** Mienshao and Pachirisu have surprisingly been favored as contestants, some say due to their relatability, and others simply believing they will go through some good development.

** People already hate Meowstic due to her spoiled attitude, and the fact that everyone believes her stereotype has been overdone and become predictable.
** Crawdaunt is unpopular due to his over-the-top nature being played in an obnoxious fashion.

* CompleteMonster: Intentionally invoked with Yveltal, as he has pretty much KILLED five of the Gods of their universe, and only because he says it´s his job. You can't defend the fact that he actually started up his own LETHAL variation of TPI however, as he is only doing it out of personally gaining satisfaction from other people's torture.
