* {{Macekre}}: These movies, along with other Sandy Frank productions riffed on by MST3K, are proof that the trope might as well have been named after him. This and a couple of other Sandy Frank "movies" were produced by re-editing episodes of Japanese TV series together, often losing all semblance of plot coherency in the process. The many Kens in this movie are a result of this.

* EarWorm: The forklift gag.
* FanDumb: There are a few fans of old Japanese sci-fi -- such as the original ''Star Wolf'' show -- that seem very annoyed and bothered with the MST3K episode, and frequently with MST3K as a whole, as a result. Apparently they can't find a way to enjoy both, but in different ways.
