* ValuesDissonance: Partricia brings Tall Eagle, an elderly native American living in a reservation, a bottle of whiskey, to make him talk. This was iffy even by the 80s B-movie standards.

* SerialNumbersFiledOff: Befitting a Cannon Films production. What makes ''Firewalker'' still stand out is that it's an openly admitted rip-off of Cannon's own adaptation of ''Literature/KingSolomonsMines'', with few dashes of [[Film/RomancingTheStone other]] [[Film/RaidersOfTheLostArk popular]] [[Film/IndianaJonesAndTheTempleOfDoom things]]. Creator/RogerEbert lambasted the movie for being just an assembly of scenes and ideas borrowed from other movies and then sloppily reenacted.

* SignatureScene: During BatmanColdOpen Max breaks a glass bottle of Perrier by clenching his hand over it [[ConvenientlyPlacedSharpThing to get free from his bonds]]. The scene, along with a specific shot from it, has been spoofed countless of times since '86 - despite having nothing to do with the plot proper.
