He could have easily made it into his niche and had long term success online by continuing to cover the franchise. However, after the show had what CR considered a dip in quality he vowed to never watch or talk about the show again and deleted most of his reviews on it.
** After the fall of both Blip and Channel Awesome, CR continues making videos on a irregular basis mostly as a hobby.

** At the end of his MLP retrospective, he concludes that he isn't worried about the show's future without Faust, since she's leaving it in good hands. Based on his attitude today... he clearly doesn't think so anymore.
** There's the scene in his review of ''Super Nerds'' where he tells someone to "go to the moon and go buck yourself!" during a heated discussion over an episode. Very harsh when he's been known to rage about the show to several people.
** His scathing review of [[Recap/MyLittlePonyFriendshipIsMagicS2E8TheMysteriousMareDoWell "The Mysterious Mare Do Well"]] ends with him claiming that he knows there are people who like the episode and doesn't want to take their enjoyment of the episode away from them. Shame the same can't be said for fans of the third season and beyond.

Come 2020, his prediction came true with the meteoric rise of V-Tubers.

** Chad himself showcased this when he said he liked ''[[WesternAnimation/TeenageMutantNinjaTurtles2012 TMNT'12]]'', despite it doing ''many of the exact same things'' he's bashed MLP:FIM for doing (the original writers leaving after the first season; changing up several characters , most infamously [[spoiler: [[http://tmnt2012series.wikia.com/wiki/Karai_Serpent_%28Action_Figure%29 Karai]]]] to fit the Playmates toys).

* InternetBackdraft: His constant snarking about MLP is seen as this, mainly because many people feel Chad's just [[AttentionWhore seeking attention from his ex-fans just to anger them]], reaching annoying TrollingCreator levels.
** His attitude towards Hasbro's failed deal with Dreamworks as well as a JerkAss comment about Lauren Faust's enthusiasm over directing her first ever animated film is considered this, giving many the feeling he's just being a JerkAss for the sake of [[KickTheDog kicking the dog]].

* VisualEffectsOfAwesome: CR occasionally makes use of computer graphics, and he's not half bad.
