** Happens to anyone who remembers ''PetesDragon'' and/or the old Main Street Electrical Parade - especially if they're taking the Thinner Path. The "Blotworx Dragon" boss is actually the parade's version of [[spoiler:that movie's titular dragon, Elliot]].

* PortingDisaster: The Wii U port was clearly rushed out in order to meet the console's late 2012 launch, as the port barely makes any use of the Wii U's improved hardware compared to the PS3 and Xbox 360 ports, doesn't allow player 1 the option of playing with the Wii Remote, and worst of all has terrible framerate lag. Wii U owners are better off just playing the Wii version (the primary version of the game) via the Wii U's backwards compatibility.

* ContestedSequel: While the original was a LoveItOrHateIt, a lot of people agree that its sequel was underwhelming.

* HateDumb: There are pins that you can only buy that are pretty blatantly references to the first game which have been accused of being evidence of cut content. There have also been people pointing at concept art from the first game and saying it proved cut content for this one.

* TheScrappy: People liked [[ExpositionFairy Gus Gremlin]] just fine in the original game, but in this one he's [[SuddenlyVoiced fully voiced]] and just [[StopHelpingMe won't. SHUT. UP!]]

* DracoInLeatherPants: Prescott has quite a fandom of his own.

For another unintentionally funny yell, [[spoiler: Jamface lets one out if you take the bad path in the Mad Doctor's attic.]]

** Prescott is surprised to see Mickey and Oswald [[spoiler: entering the Floatyard]] and if you take the good path both in the Train Tunnels and the Floatyard [[spoiler: he'll mention he didn't think they'd get past his defenses. It would seem the Floatyard wasn't where he planned to use his mech. Most other areas of Wasteland are populated, and many of them don't even have anywhere the citizens could run.]]
