* WhatTheHellIsThatAccent: Delacourt's strange accent. She's the only character with an accent that doesn't sound like an existing modern one. Given that she's French, it's probably supposed to be a faint French accent over Foster's native American English.

*** In any case, he's undoubtedly over the line when he decides not to have [[spoiler:Matilda cured]] anyway after he loses what's left of his sanity.

** Um... Kruger's accent was perfectly reasonable if you have an ear for South African ones. Somebody from the Witwatersrand with a military background of conscription trying to talk to people who don't grok the accent or lingo... and, failing to adapt much at all, half the time: often deliberately. A guy doesn't sprinkle ''that'' much Afrikaans about in front of English or Spanish speakers without meaning to bamboozle or intimidate them, after all.

* CrazyAwesome: Kruger. For instance, he prefers barbecuing chicken and ribs ''with his katana.''
