* Woolseyism: In the original audio, Yoichi is voiced by Creator/MitsukiSaiga, a woman, and has a clearly feminine voice, leading Toyohisa to initially assume that he's either a woman or Nobunaga's attendant, Mori Ranmaru. In English, he's voiced by Justin Briner, who, while not having a deep voice, still has a masculine enough tone not to be confused for a woman. As such, the dialogue in the aforementioned scene instead alludes to how Toyohisa would think that Nobunaga would prefer having Ranmaru considering their relationship, to which Nobunaga says, "Would have made these cold nights a lot warmer," alluding to the rumors of their potentially intimate relationship.

* CompleteMonster: Aram is a knight of the Orte Empire, in charge of patrolling its lands where he would oppress the elves there, take their women to be made sex slaves, and kill any wandering Drifters. Burning the elven villages because two teenagers helped the Drifters, Aram personally kills the village elder, gloating that all non-humans will be exterminated, before ordering his men to kill some of the elves in the village, including the teenager, wanting to cut the elf population in half.

** In the 2012 anime adaption of Manga/JoJosBizarreAdventure, Creator/TomokazuSugita plays Joseph Joestar, who at one point dresses in drag to try and sneak past a group of Nazis. Then Drifters comes along and he plays Count Saint-Germain, who not only is a cross-dresser, but works for an oppressive country that was literally made by Adolf Hitler.
** The anime adaptation of Drifters aired in the fall of 2016... right alongside Brave Witches, meaning we got an anime featuring a DistaffCounterpart of Kanno Naoshi two days before an anime featuring the actual Kanno Naoshi.
** In VideoGame/SengokuBasara, Creator/RobertMcCollum portrayed Masamune Date, who ended the show's first season by defeating Nobunaga Oda, who [=McCollum=] plays in this series.
