* SugarWiki/FunnyMoments: While Confusion is annoying, all but incapacitating the afflicted Digimon, it is also absolutely hilarious, replacing the battle menu with nonsensical commands like "Laugh", "Mad" and "Seduct". Choosing one either makes the Digimon attack or, alternatively, yields a completely useless message like "[Digimon name] Shiny white teeth!" or "[Digimon name] Tears are salty!". Even the [[https://youtu.be/lcabyILeubE music]] goes absolutely bonkers!

* NightmareFuel:
** Amaterasu Server's version of Divermon's Lake; the reddish liquid where the water would be looks very much like blood. The Divermon happily swimming in it doesn't make things better. The creepier part, is that if you pay attention carefully, you'll realize the water is not even reflecting the sunset. ''The water is naturally colored red.''
** The Jungle Grave. The theme itself is creepy, and the fact that many players probably won't have done the ForcedLevelGrinding needed to simply survive one second in it means you probably got your butt kicked when you first got here.
** The whole premise of getting trapped in a video game is full of FridgeHorror, especially since Digimon Online does not utilize NarniaTime. Just imagine what it would feel like to hear that your friend or [[ParentalAbandonment family member]] has essentially been trapped in a pod, their conscious in a virtual world with ''no way of getting them out''. One random NPC also worries about her being unable to feed her dog now. What if she (or any other pet owner playing the game) lives alone and there is nobody else around to care for her dog...?

** The Amaterasu Server, in general. Its enemies are at least as tough as the aforementioned Numemon and Musyamon. One could argue the problem is not so much that the enemies are hard, but rather the fact that every area in this new sprawling world map has enemies of equal strength to each other, so if you stumble into a scary, powerful enemy somewhere, you can't really retreat safely to a previous weaker area to grind. A player can easily feel overwhelmed enough to decide going into a familiar peaceful place like Amaterasu's Central Park, expecting to find wimpy Kunemon/Tapirmon, only to be ambushed by H-Kabuterimon/Antylamon.

** Guilmon in general, simply because you can equip him with the Zweihander as soon as you have enough Charisma to get the El Dorado ID. This weapon gives Guilmon ''a whopping +300 strength''. With decent Strength training and this weapon, Guilmon can reach the 999 strength cap the fastest, and he can also access MetalMamemon, who has pretty good physical techniques, very quickly as well. He can 2HKO nearly all regular enemies with this, though you'll want to train his defensive stats and especially speed as well.
