* TheyWastedAPerfectlyGoodPlot: Or a perfectly good epilogue, at least. The story was just begging for a wrap-up scene showing [[spoiler:Joris, now doubly orphaned, having to raise a new incarnation of his former-parent alone despite still being a child himself.]] Instead we get a scene of Khan in the shower being a jerk.

* AnimationBump: While the Dofus and Wakfu cartoons are mainly flash animated, the movie has a more traditional animated feel.
* FranchiseKiller: Despite its incredible animation, its low box-office sales potentially prevents other movies from being made. The Dofus and Wakfu games (and the latter's cartoon) remain strong, though.

** Really, the whole movie is this, compared to much of the series. Heck, the primary theme is about coping with loss. Loss of family, loss of love, loss of friends, home, status, pride, dignity, everything. Even hair. Loss drives the plot. Every member of the cast seems to be coping with loss, at one point or another. Frankly, it's a miracle that the movie even ended on an upbeat note.
