** The new instalments address Lalia's very sudden fall into remorseless gluttony, going into detail about how wonderful and liberating it felt. ''A Very Lalia Thanksgiving'' shows her side of the events, and how she did initially try to resist her cravings.
** The ANC helmed revival cut Lalia less slack, showing her actually getting embarrassed by her own antics, and even regretting them at times. [[spoiler:And she eventually learns to tone it down.]]

* SpiritualSuccessor: After completing the series, Adjective Noun Combo posted a five part vore comic called ''Size Serving,'' featuring a SuspiciouslySimilarSubstitute named Britney, which essentially served to sate fans who wanted to see Lalia eat someone.

** Furthermore, ''Double Dip'' has a distinct emphasis on story over stuffing. Being intended as the series' GrandFinal (at least as far as Adjective Noun Combo is concerned), opinion is divided by those who are caught up by the LoveTriangle, and those missing the sexy shenanigans.

* DesignatedHero: While she's not at all malicious, throughout the comic Lalia ditches her few responsibilities, frustrates and worries her best friend, steals clothing, accidentally burns down a sorority, steals food from a child, and does little other than sit around and stuff herself with food. [[spoiler: She seems to realise this at the end of ther series.]]

* AlternateCharacterInterpretation: More than a few fans have taken to the idea that Jane was [[LesYay secretly in love with Lalia,]] hence why she (more or less) put up with her antics.

* WhatAnIdiot: Possibly Jane, for entrusting Lalia, whose defining character trait is her love of eating, with delivering her pies to Thanksgiving dinner. Lalia brings this up in ''A Very Lalia Thanksgiving.'' Only ''possibly'' because her appetite was far more restrained until this point.

* TheyWastedAPerfectlyGoodCharacter: After the initial revamp, any character that wasn't Jane or Lalia was left behind. Trevor was retroactively put back into the spotlight in the third incarnation, but the likes of his roommate and Kim remain unseen since.

* BrokenBase: The (original) revival portion of the series. The intention was of course to become near more direct fanservice, but not everyone agrees on whether this was a good thing or not.

* DesignatedVillain: Kim is treated as an antagonist because of her attitude, but the worst thing she does is criticize Lalia's carrot cake design. For the brief time where she is genuinely furious at Lalia, she has a good reason (see above).

* AngstWhatAngst / KarmaHoudini: After accidentally burning down a sorority full of partying coeds (who, admittedly, escaped mostly unharmed), Lalia does seem a little guilty about the situation, but she never gets in trouble for it, nor is it ever brought up again.
* ArtMajorBiology: What happens to Lalia's figure after so much wanton, limitless gluttony? A slight potbelly.
** Lalia's appetite finally starts to catch up with her as of ''Double Dip.''

* ShortLivedBigImpact: While the series was around for a while, there are less than fifty strips in total. And yet, Lalia inspired hoards of fan art, and the comic is well remembered by fans to this day.
** To put it in perspective, in just one arc and two months, ANC produced more content than the entirety of the series' original stint on Deviantart.

* InternetBackdraft: Lalia's appearance in the attempted prequel series' was met with controversy from fans, as she was depicted in a revealing outfit, but appeared to be as young as twelve. Arthur later explained that she was meant to be a teenager, and had simply overdone her redesign. Nevertheless, he never continued the series'.

* AwesomeArt: Even people with no interest in belly stuffing admit that the improved artwork is ''gorgeous.''

** Adjective Noun Combo's recreation of the art style is damn near perfect, and the entire reason it went from ''fanart'' to ''official continuation.''

* TheyWastedAPerfectlyGoodCharacter: Any and all characters aside from Lalia and Jane. And even Jane didn't appear in the four produced pages of ''The Lap of Luxury.''
** Trevor, however, is officially back in the limelight in the ANC revival.
* TheyWastedAPerfectlyGoodPlot: The original run set up a lot of potential that was brushed away when it was restarted.

** During ''Double Dip,'' Lalia's usual cheeriness is seen whenever she's eating, but flips right around into depression over her recennt weight gain any other time. [[StepfordSmiler Is it possible she's eating to distract herself from her problems?]]

** The series' popularity peaked after it was revived on deviantArt, which was overall even shorter.

** Lalia is put off her snacking when her teacher almost catches her slacking off, showing that she does realise she has a problem, even if she won't actually fix it.
