* SugarWiki/NoProblemWithLicensedGames: The ''Jetman'' game for the Famicom is considerably decent by licensed games standards, if a bit shallow. The developers, Natsume (of ''HarvestMoon'' fame) went on to develop the all of the ''Power Rangers'' games for the SNES (including the ''Series/GekisouSentaiCarranger'' game for the [=SuFami Turbo=] Super Famicom add-on), as well as some of the later Game Boy Color/Advance ones.

Added DiffLines:

* {{Narm}}: Toned down. Fans have noted that Radiguet normally would've looked ridiculous: he's blue skinned a [[Franchise/TheSmurfs smurf]]. However, he makes up for it with extreme sadism and ruthlessness without going over NarmCharm that people sometimes forget his smurf-like skin.

* FamilyUnfriendlyAesop: The episode where Gray tricks Maria with a two-headed coin, challenges Gai to a roulette game, then loses after [[spoiler:Tetra Boy tilts the building]] teaches that either cheating is okay, or two wrongs make a right.

* FamilyUnfriendlyAesop: Cheating is okay. From the episode where [[spoiler: Gai and Gray are playing roulette to resolve a fight and Gai has Tetra Boy pick up the building and tilt it so he wins.]] Probably intended as an act of karma against Gray, who prior to the title card tricks Maria with a two-headed coin. However, this would then turn the moral to, "Two wrongs make a right", which still sounds questionable.

* FanPreferredCouple: Some still prefer Gai with Kaori as opposed to Ryu with Kaori.
* FunnyAneurysmMoment: One of the episodes is titled "Gai Dies!". He came back after that. [[spoiler:Guess what REALLY happened to him in the ending.]]

** As stated, Re/Maria got turned into a vampire towards the end. A fanfic adapting the series into a ''Franchise/PowerRangers'' series, ''Fanfic/PowerRangersTakeFlight'' would have a space vampire named Trask as one of the primary villains (he's one of the equivalents of Radiguet- Radiguet's normal form became Trask's armored form).

* CompleteMonster: [[BigBad Back Dimensional Count Radiguet]] is a {{sadist}}ic AxCrazy genocidal maniac with megalomaniacal fantasies of ruling the Vyram under an iron-fisted dictatorship. Even when Juza, his boss and the true BigBad, arrived he [[TheStarscream planned to overthrow her]] but that failed. Afterwards when it looked like he would become good because of a sick girl (who became his MoralityPet while he had amnesia) whom he cured unknowingly he spurned her offer to turn good by killing her. All because she believed he could feel love. He's also the one who brainwashed Rie into being Maria for no other reason ForTheEvulz. His most repulsive KickTheDog moment was when he killed her after she snapped back to being Rie, solely for [[spoiler:spiting on Ryu so he doesn't get to be with the girl he's trying to save throughout the whole series]]. There's also the part where he tortured Tranza until he became insane and was left at the door of an asylum.

* JerkassWoobie: The Neo Jetmen. They initially appear to be arrogant jerks, but quickly move into TheWoobie territory when it's made clear how [[BadBoss horrible their boss is]], how unprepared for their jobs and that he views them as nothing more than replaceable tools.
