** How could anyone forget the Dark Chi Theme. I've never heard a tune that makes you feel not just the suspense of action sequences, but truly the emotion behind them too. That was really a game changer for me the first time I heard that in the series.
*** Very much Dark Chii theme! Not only is it beautifully composed, but the musical flow typically goes PERFECTLY with whatever scene it's set against. Be it Chii's defending herself against Dragonfly or [[MundaneMadeAwesome Hedeki rushing into a]] HopelessBossfight [[MundaneMadeAwesome in order to play an RPG together with her]]. It's never inappropriate when used and it's always the perfect choice for the scene.
** I'm putting in a vote for Yasashisa no Shouzou. A soft, slow piano and violin tune that manages to be sad, happy and sentimental all at the same time. Ususally popping up in soft, emotional or sentimental scenes, the song is very nearly a TearJerker on it's own.

* {{Moe}}: Oh, Chi...
Chi...So sweet and innocent and adorable.
* {{Squick}}: Your tolerance for this series probably depends on how seriously you think about the UnfortunateImplications discussed below. Some would call the entire premise of the series quite disturbing.'disturbing'.

** Chi's relationship with Hideki is played up as being "pure" and "innocent", but Chi is still heavily dependent on Hideki for many things, not to mention as naive as a child. More often than not, they're more like [[IncestIsRelative Father]][[WifeHusbandry and Daughter]] than anything else.
** A lot of Chi's clothes come from Ms. Hibiya [[spoiler:because Chi/Elda and Freya were built by her husband to be their surrogate daughters since she was infertile]]. It begs the question of why she [[spoiler:and her husband]] had Chi [[spoiler:and Freya]] to wear some blatantly sexual clothes that show off their breasts and panties so much.
** Minoru is 12, seems not to have parents, and is such a genius he knows how to build persocoms. [[ReplacementGoldfish Yuzuki]] is in a super modest maid's costume. His other four persocoms...are all busty women dressed in maid outfits so fetish they're essentially in bras or corsets with garter belts and a frilly apron. Minoru tells Hidelki they're "only computers" and not to get so aroused, nor that they put out. Why...did he build and dress them like sexy fetish maids in the first place?
*** Probably for the reaction he gets out of guys like Hideki. He may have considered the whole thing an elaborate prank.
*** Secondly, Yuzuki is the replacement for ''his sister.'' He probably makes her dress more modestly out of squick/ respect.
* TastesLikeDiabetes: Just try to watch the opening sequence twice in the same day.
** The ending themes also can have shades of this.
** Also anything Sumomo says and does reeks of this.
* UnfortunateImplications: [[strike:All]] Most Persocoms are attractive women (male models can be seen here and there, and are mentioned more than once, one even being a plot critical character.). Designed to be all-purpose servants. The pronounced gender-line probably has something to do with the fact that in Japan robots are seen as inherently feminine, unless noted otherwise - because they're created to serve. Yeah...
** [[StealthPun There's also the fact that Chii's "on" switch is located in her vaginal region.]]
** And the fact that although Hideki is clueless, and his landlady is not, nobody offers to help get Chii's programming sorted out so she doesn't ever progress beyond talking/reasoning like a little girl. Yet she falls in love and Hideki reciprocates.
*** Given how nearly every persocom hooked up to her crashes, it may be they simply don't know what programs would work for her OS.
*** And that totals to ''at least three'' characters falling in love or marrying their Persocoms! Yeah.
* TheWoobie: [[strike:Chi and Sumomo]] Most of the female casts to varying degrees.
** And Minoru.
** I don't see how Minoru is a woobie when he has such expertise with persocoms and is so resourceful. He talked down to Hideki on their first meeting like Hideki was [[TheWoobie the woobie]] (which he is). His only weakness is his sister, but he is not really a weak, impressionable character.
