Chugga, after catching a Spearow, eventually names it Khold in reference, basically to show Khold what "he could've had". And considering how awesome the Spearow [[hottip:*: and eventually Fearow]] is, it freaking works.

It's not a bad idea, but it's largely WildMassGuessing since there's no real evidence of this, taking a lot of the meaningfulness and emotion out of it since it's really just Chuggaa's made up theory. It's not helped by the fact that part of the theory relied on Link's personal feelings, and none of which are ever displayed and doesn't really contribute much to the game.

Then there's ''SuperMarioSunshine'' where he kept annotation links, which carried into ''[[SuperMarioGalaxy Super Luigi Galaxy]]'' and became regular features from the ''{{Okami}}'' LP onward.
