Added DiffLines:

* {{Anvilicious}}: When Lopez [[spoiler: tells Renè that ''Medical Dimension'' was born to fail and sabotage any attempt at a quality television in Italy]], there's quite a long speech about how producers don't want to make anything new and the audience doesn't really care about it.
* SugarWiki/AwesomeMusic:
** [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I2QoHoNZts8 The opening]], from comedic rock group Music/ElioELeStorieTese. Also notable since, even while the whole song is sung by Elio, each line is in-character dialogue for one of the characters above (and lip-sync'd by them in the opening).
** [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RnHEAUaoMr0 The musical number]], which was supposed to be a BigLippedAlligatorMoment in the ShowWithinAShow is as awesome as it's cheesy, see NarmCharm below.
* CultClassic: Despite originally airing on a limited-reach satellite TV channel, ''Boris'' quickly gained a dedicated fanbase thanks to word of mouth, MemeticMutation and even digital piracy, making it one of the most quoted series in Italy. It experienced a new surge in popularity in 2020 when it was added to Netflix. The author of the series have even admitted that the show is much more popular 10 years later than when it first aired.
* EnsembleDarkhorse:
** Out of the minor characters, Mariano and Glauco are the most popular, due to the performance of their actors. Mariano is also all kinds of awesome.
** The screenwriters appear in just a few scenes (usually making brief cameo appearances at best), but all of their scenes are among the most iconic and memetic ones. It's probably the reason why they are PromotedToOpeningTitles in season 3 and get their own ADayInTheLimelight in the season 3 finale.
* HilariousInHindsight: In the movie (released in 2011), some characters are shooting a film called "Christmas in Space", as it's supposed to be an exaggerated parody of other infamous Christmas movies like "Christmas in India", "Christmas in Miami", "Christmas in South Africa" etc. Then comes the 2020 Christmas movie... "Holiday on Mars".
* MemeticMutation:
** "Tuscans have ruined this country."[[labelnote:Explanation]]Stanis proclaims that the best part about ''Gli occhi del cuore'' is the absence of Tuscan people and their brand of humour. Now generally used to mock Tuscans when the iconic rivalry between Italian regions rears its head.[[/labelnote]]
** "We are fucking done with quality! We want ''shit!''" [[labelnote:Explanation]]René says it after realizing ''Medical Dimension'' is a scam destined to fail and that making good series in Italy is impossible, therefore decides to go back into directing low quality tv series. It's generally used when a bad series is popular and/or gets new seasons or when a movie gets too many sequels[[/labelnote]]
** "Like that, all of a sudden, without reason." (''"Così, de botto, senza senso."'')[[labelnote: Explanation]]When one of the screenwriters proposes a sex scene just to pad the script. Now used for things happening without rhyme or reason.[[/labelnote]]
** "F4 Astonished."[[labelnote:Explanation]]A RunningGag of the series InUniverse writers use certain lines and the same clitches so often they have some F buttons to write them. It's often used whenever the character is just astonished for no reason or when a series is too clitche[[/labelnote]]
** "This asshole looks in camera" [[labelnote:Explanation]]René says it when an actor keeps giving an AsideGlance to the camera when he's not supposed to do. It's used whenever there's a case of AsideGlance or when a character is staring at the viewer[[/labelnote]]
** "What is a ''X+adjective''? Is it physically an X or not?" [[labelnote:Explanation]] While Mariano rants how much he dislikes his character, he lists the things that makes him an HateSink: he kills, he rapes and [[ArsonMurderAndJaywalking is fixated with a share package]]; then Mariano wonders what a share package is and if it's physically a package[[/labelnote]]
* NarmCharm: The musical number in the season 3 finale is this both-universe and out. It's a SongParody of the old summer hit "Three words" and a ridiculously cheesy BigLippedAlligatorMoment with Stanis, Cristina and Karin singing and dancing. Still very catchy, and everyone in the troupe is enjoying it, just like the viewers.
* TrappedByMountainLions: Arianna's arc of being revealed as a right-wing supporter only exists to create additional tension in her relationship with Alessandro in the early episodes of Season 3, and it's later replaced by the more organic subplot of Alessandro's second job. Arianna's political sympathies are only brought up a couple of times later on for a quick gag or two.
* UnintentionallySympathetic: Stanis is portrayed as an outright {{Jerkass}} in the most over-the-top way possible and barely has any nice/human moments at all. Even his actor Pietro Sermonti stated that he's a terrible person and that nobody should be like him in real life. However, he's a huge fan favorite, with many fans finding him likable because he's passionate about his work (unlike the other deadbeat characters) and claiming that he's just a naive, insecure guy behind his narcissism.
* TheWoobie:
** Alessandro and Lorenzo, the two "slave" interns who get the worst treatment and never get respect.
** René, especially in season 3 and the movie. No matter how much he tries, HardWorkHardlyWorks and he's forced to put up with people like Stanis and Corinna all the time. There are also some scenes where it's clear that he's considered a loser and he's a JadedWashout who hates himself. Being a JerkWithAHeartOfGold, his many flaws are evident but he's usually portrayed sympathetically, so he can fall between TheWoobie and JerkassWoobie.
** The nice old lady from "Buona festa del Grazie", especially in the DownerEnding when she finds her house destroyed by the crew. They give her a fake number and [[KarmaHoudini get away with it]].
