Actually I double checked, he doesn’t count as a Scrappy because the audience hatred is an intended reaction to him.

** Surprisingly enough, Gordon makes Derek look like a saint in comparison, as one episode even had him deliberately framing Bobby for things he didn't even do during the sleepover at his own house, forcing him to draw a picture for himself, and even putting candy in his hair while he was sleeping. What really makes him more infuriating is that [[KarmaHoudini he suffers no onscreen consequences for his cruel actions]], which gives him even more hate from the viewers. At best it’s ''implied'' that he’ll get blamed for a mess Bobby created later and Bobby planning a sleepover where he intends to do the same to him, but this still feels like too little a punishment for what a brat Gordon is.

** [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jW8j7p3ZXcE This video]] released on Creator/HowieMandel's Website/YouTube channel in 2013. Bobby starts singing "Hush Little Baby", but quickly becomes an EnfanteTerrible when he commits increasingly-atrocious and graphic acts on the mockingbird when it won't sing, and threatens to do the same to a terrified parrot. The most terrifying part is that Bobby does all of this ''[[AmbiguousInnocence with a smile and no hint of malice in his voice]]''. Holy shit, what happened to him?!

* NoProblemWithLicensedGames: The [=SNES=] game was cancelled at the eleventh hour, but what is there in the prototype is still rather decent, being a cute and charming little platformer that does justice to the show.

** Because the show didn't give much characterization to other characters there was no real reason to why Derek is such a Jerkass to Bobby. Was it because he was jealous of him due to him being the baby of the family? Or is he a massive jerk who gets a sick kick out of Bobby's suffering?

* TakeThatScrappy: Derek getting punished by Howard in "Suspects, Lies, and Videotape". Even if it was for something he didn't do[[note]]Bobby lied to Howard that Derek was going to the mall so he (Howard) wouldn't suspect that he (Bobby) had accidentally broke Martha's Elvis bust and then tried to fix it with his (Howard's) tools[[/note]], considering [[BigBrotherBully the way Derek treats Bobby most of the time]], those who hate Derek find it so satisfying to see him get punished. As proof, it's the most replayed part of Kabillion's upload of the episode on Website/YouTube.

* TearJerker: Abe The Crossing Guard's death at the end of "The Music". Easily the show's saddest moment.

Found another meta example.

* SugarWiki/MomentOfAwesome: A meta one, as this show may have been one of the first animated children's show to show a woman going through an entire pregnancy before giving birth to twins. (although Wilma in WesternAnimation/TheFlintstones was pregnant before giving birth to Pebbles, that was just one episode, Bobby's mom was pregnant for a long time).

** Abe The Crossing Guard's death at the end of "The Music". Easily the show's saddest moment.
** Meta example: The death of Tino Insana, the voice of Uncle Ted, on May 31, 2017.
* UnintentionallyUnsympathetic: Some of Jackie's attempts to teach Bobby a lesson, [[Main/PunchedAcrossTheRoom the ending of]] ''Karate Bobby'' for example, can come across as cruel. It's all really not her responsibility, she's not an authority figure.

** Is Ted actually the irresponsible manchild everyone thinks he is, or does his family simply not respect him because he's a bachelor who doesn't have a 9-to-five job? It's notable that he acts goofy and silly when Bobby's parents are around, but often becomes far more serious and responsible when he's alone with his nephew (trying to get in touch with Bobby's parents during an unexpectedly long road trip, not allowing Bobby to ride a carnival ride that would likely make him sick, and putting aside playing with Bobby the instant a business associate showed up).
