While the games have always had bright and dark moments this clearly the series’ DarkestHour, which might cause some people to stop caring. Which would be unfortunate because it ''really'' is a DarkestHour, ''Central Fiction'' managed to make things gradually better, topping with EarnYourHappyEnding.

** For some, there's also those who'd consider Kokonoe having one. She'd be considered an amoral bitch unworthy of being cheered even when she's being an ally thanks to her laundry list of atrocities, ignorance of things. However, because she's considered highly amusing with her snarkiness and F-Bombs and her other competition is a high-caliber bastard like Terumi (and she herself is considered an attractive pink-haired CatGirl), she often got her atrocities and dangers glossed away. The game also glosses it somehow, even if Ragna and Hakumen [[WhatTheHellHero called her nasty decision-makings out]], she's still tailored to be the best mind they had for ally and she still gets to enjoy protagonistic role despite never having to realize that she is wrong and needs to fix her attitude.

* SignatureSong: "Beat A Nail With Your Hammer" and "Under Heaven Destruction" are considered two of the series's most iconic songs.

** [[EvilGod Takehaya Susanoo-no-Mikoto]], better known as [[Characters/BlazblueYuukiTerumi Yūki Terumi]], rebelled against his "sister" Master Unit: Amaterasu and dedicated his entire life to spiting her and destroying all of her creations. Having created the apocalyptic [[EldritchAbomination Black Beast]], Terumi was brainwashed by Nine the Phantom to assist the fellow Six Heroes in the Dark War. When freed, he returned the favor by casting her and Trinity Glassfille to the Boundary to die. He would later murder the caretaker of Ragna, Jin, and Saya, burn down the church they called home, and compelled Jin to sever the young Ragna's arm. His myriad of other atrocities include, but aren't limited to, being responsible for Lotte Carmine's horrific condition as Arakune, {{mind rap|e}}ing Noel Vermillion into becoming Mu the Godslayer, breaking Tsubaki Yayoi's spirit, harvesting the souls of his own NOL personnel to power up Cauldrons, and assisting Relius Clover and Izanami in enacting "Doomsday". An arrogant, sadistic god who [[HopeCrusher sustains his wretched existence through others' hatred and despair]], Susanoo coveted the True Azure to destroy everything, create a single world to lord over, and fill it full of every living beings' suffering for eternity.

* ShippingGoggles: A few people who read the ''Remix Heart'' manga toyed with the idea of [[TallDarkAndHandsome Jin Kisaragi]] and [[ShyBlueHairedGirl Mai Natsume]] together. One of the most likely reasons is that the appearance of Jin and Mai resembles that of [[OfficialCouple Ky x Dizzy]] in VideoGame/GuiltyGear. This has no basis in the story though, as ultimately Jin's with Tsubaki.

** Azrael is the most well-received character out of all the ''Chrono Phantasma'' newcomers, due to possibly being even more RatedMForManly than Bang, and the fact that his [[Creator/HirokiYasumoto Japanese voice actor's]] previous role was a [[VideoGame/AsurasWrath certain six-armed god killer]] gives him even more popularity points.

** More bizzarely, a notable example is Ragna's projectile move, Dead Spike. A rare case of a ''fighting move'' being popular. To the point where it has its own tag on Danbooru, and it continues to grow. And now it has its ''own'' ''DDR''-style game. HilarityEnsues.
** Hibiki Kohaku ranked 3rd in the 10th anniversary popularity poll, being behind Hazama by only 113 votes. And that's despite him being only a supporting character who doesn't even have the status of a main character like Mai (6th), Celica (7th), Es (10th) and Naoto (19th) have in their respective series that could have boosted this popularity in any way. He is the only one in the top 10 who is neither a main character (Ragna, Jin, Mai, Celica, Noel, Es) in any form of media nor a main/major villain (Hazama, Terumi, Nu).
** Lambda was a PaletteSwap of Nu introduced in ''Continuum Shift'' in a way to preserve the latter's playstyle. Her [[TheWoobie sympathetic storyline]] and [[TearJerker tragic end]] was a hit with the fans, which allowed Arc System Works to eventually [[BackFromTheDead revive her]] in ''Chronophantasma Extend'' with a more aggressive playstyle from Nu and gain some CharacterDevelopment. Lambda even managed to get a [[EarnYourHappyEnding happy ending]] by the end of ''Central Fiction''.

* CrazyAwesome: Some fans like Hazama despite the fact that he's possibly the most insane member of the cast. Also see DracoInLeatherPants.
* CreepyAwesome: Ragna the Bloodedge is this, along with being an IronWoobie.

** Ragna is often remembered for being a victim of the WorkEffect (see MemeticLoser above).

* VindicatedByHistory: In ''Continuum Shift'', Terumi was more so seen as obnoxious due to being utter overpowered InvincibleVillain who was the source for much of the series' DarknessInducedAudienceApathy and frequently made all of the heroes efforts for naught. After the series conclusion, and [[spoiler:with him finally getting his comeuppance]], fans are able to look back on his early days with more fondness.

* TheScrappy: While it's very hard to see anyone as Scrappies, there aren't many fans of Luna (not Platinum as whole). She's considered to be incredibly loud-mouthed and obnoxious, insulting nearly everyone she came across in a worse scale that surpassed even Rachel's haughtiness (and outright calling Ragna a lolicon for NO REASON whatsoever). The two other souls found within Platinum however include Sena who's much less rude than Luna and Trinity, one of the Six Heroes.

* SugarWiki/SuperlativeDubbing: Part of the massive backlash to ''Central Fiction'' lacking a dub was because of how much fans loved the English voice cast's performance, with the likes of Creator/PatrickSeitz and Creator/CristinaValenzuela clearly enjoying their work very much.

* InformedWrongness : Despite her DesignatedHero status, Kokonoe manages to have this as well, in that the series only has seriously called out for his actions or portrayed as being in the wrong when she actually has a point. In ''Chronophantasma'', her plan to [[spoiler: sacrifice Celica to use Kushinada’s Lynchpin is]] treated as a MoralEventHorizon. In spite of her making a TheNeedsOfTheMany defense, she's still depicted as being in the wrong. ''Central Fiction'' goes even further with her plan to [[spoiler: sacrifice Minerva to destroy Requiem. Minerva is a machine that isn't made out to be a sentient being, yet Celica calls her out as being callous. Unlike in ''CP'', Kokonoe is shown to be the right, but her plan as treated as being far more ruthless than it actually is.]]

* PopularWithFurries: Despite the series having about as much, or even less, non-humanoid major characters in the series than [[VideoGame/GuiltyGear its older brother]], it manages to earn some furry fans since one of those characters, Jubei, happens to be a feline BeastMan, while Taokaka also has her fans for being a CatGirl. Even [[CompleteMonster Susano'o]] has a few furry fans himself! (Possibly because of his more monstrous appearance compared to most of the cast.)

[[VideoGame/BlazBlueChronoPhantasma As Imperator Librarius]], she used her authority to help conspire with Terumi and Relius to destroy Amatersu and bring about Doomsday. Izanami placed Tsubaki under Ruby: Mind Eater and forced her to use the Izayoi's Immortal Breaker on Jin against her will. She later compelled Ragna to enter a berserk, Black Beast-like state also against his will, resulting in him crippling Jin. [[VideoGame/BlazBlueCentralFiction Coldly betraying Terumi and Relius for her own devices]], Izanami tasks herself trying to bring about untold annihilation within a massive radius following Nine's failure. When confronted by Ragna and Noel, Izanami tries to tempt Ragna into killing Noel to gain the True Azure for himself. When Noel as Mu-12 tries to assimilate Izanami's soul into her own, Izanami reverses the process in an attempt to erase Noel's entire existence. A nihilistic, self-serving goddess, Hades: Izanami used all in her arsenal and disposed of anyone at any time to achieve her "dream".

** [[Characters/BlazblueYuukiTerumi Yu(u)ki Terumi]], the BigBad, is in reality [[spoiler:Susanoo, a god subordinate to [[GreaterScopeParagon Master Unit: Amaterasu]], his "sister"]]. Developing an intense hatred towards Amaterasu for being under her will, he has dedicated his life to [[EvilIsPetty spiting]] and [[DestroyerDeity destroying]] her and her creations, including humans. Although Terumi is one of the Six Heroes, he was never on their side, having been brainwashed by [[TheArchmage Nine's]] Ruby: Mind Eater, because he knew the most about the [[PersonOfMassDestruction world-ending Black Beast]], his own creation. Terumi paid Nine back by shoving her into the [[EldritchLocation Boundary]] along with her friend Trinity Glassfille. Much later, he burns down the church housing [[TheHero Ragna]], [[{{Deuteragonist}} Jin]], and their sister [[LivingMacguffin Saya]], taking the latter with him while making sure [[AnArmAndALeg Ragna's arm was cut off by Jin]]. The founder of both the NOL and Sector Seven, Terumi's been RunningBothSides in order to meet his own ends, including the appointment of [[GreaterScopeVillain Hades Izanami]] to Imperator. His list of atrocities include being responsible for Lotte Carmine's current condition as [[BodyHorror Arakune]], and then [[ShameIfSomethingHappened using that]] to [[ForcedIntoEvil coax Litchi Faye-Ling to the path of evil]]; {{mind rap|e}}ing Noel Vermillion into becoming [[WeaponOfMassDestruction Mu, the Godslayer]]; [[BreakTheCutie breaking]] Tsubaki Yayoi's spirit; harvesting the souls of a bunch of NOL soldiers to power up the Cauldron; disabling Takamagahara by having Phantom, a brainwashed Nine, implant a magical virus in the system; and assisting Relius Clover and Izanami in enacting "[[TheEndOfTheWorldAsWeKnowIt Doomsday]]." Defined by [[{{Sadist}} sadism]] and [[SmugSnake arrogance]], his ultimate goal is to obtain the True Azure and become a being greater than Amaterasu, destroy all the worlds and timelines, and [[RestartTheWorld create one world]] where all living things are in fear and despair because [[EmotionEater hatred sustains his life]], something he wouldn't have any other way.
** [[GreaterScopeVillain Hades Izanami]], despite the circumstances of her existence, is still her own individual and [[OmnicidalManiac yearns for a world of death]]. As Imperator Librarius, she uses her authority to help conspire with Terumi and Relius to destroy Amatersu and bring about Doomsday. In ''[[VideoGame/BlazBlueChronophantasma Chronophantasma]]'', Izanami exploited [[spoiler:her part of Saya’s soul]] to beckon Ragna to her side for psychological effect; placed Tsubaki under the effects of [[{{Brainwashed}} Ruby: Mind Eater]] and forced her to fight Jin, Noel, and Makoto during their attempts to rescue her, including using the Izayoi's Immortal Breaker to inflict [[TheresNoKillLikeOverkill overkill]] on Jin; and compelled Ragna to enter a Black Beast-like state and go berserk, resulting in him critically injuring Jin. In ''[[VideoGame/BlazBlueCentralFiction Central Fiction]]'', after Nine seemingly incapacitates her, Izanami appears to inform everyone she plots to bring about untold annihilation within a massive radius. When Ragna and Noel confront her, Izanami tries to tempt Ragna into killing Noel to gain the True Azure and, when that fails, abandons her "dream" to kill him directly. In a last-ditch move to defeat the Goddess of Death, Noel (as Mu-12) tries to assimilate Izanami's soul into her own, but she reverses the process to try and end Noel’s existence instead. A sinister god who’ll [[YouHaveOutlivedYourUsefulness dispose of anyone in her quest]] to kill the Master Unit and destroy everything, Hades Izanami would have brought complete and total nothingness to the universe of ''Franchise/BlazBlue'' if not stopped.
** [[MadScientist Relius Clover]], once a vigilante partnered with Valkenhayn, a [[ColonelBadass colonel]] in the NOL, and [[spoiler:One, leader of the Ten Sages of Ishana]], is a man who dedicated his life to [[ForScience science]]. As a researcher, he helped Terumi try and recreate [[WeaponOfMassDestruction Kusanagi]] 100 years ago and, later, was present when the Black Beast emerged from a Cauldron. After being swallowed by the Black Beast and flung into the future, Relius eventually regains his memories and reunites with Terumi to pick up where they left off. He [[ManipulativeBastard manipulates]] Sector Seven and Kokonoe Mercury in recreating the Nox Nyctores Nirvana and producing an energy core that endangered the lives of the members of the organization. Around this time, [[AbusiveParent Relius]] killed his own wife and daughter, Ignis and Ada. He turned Ignis into a [[KillerRobot literal killing machine]] using said core and left Ada, now Nirvana, unfinished for his young son Carl to complete. He also founded the NOL Military Academy in hopes of observing the students' hidden potentials. While working on Nirvana and Ignis, he saw the "true form" of every person, their soul, and came to view people as [[LackOfEmpathy mere "things"]] and [[StrawNihilist lost all belief in the inherent value of human life]], making it easier for him to put other people through [[ColdBloodedTorture torment]], such as [[RobotGirl Lambda]] and [[PluckyGirl Makoto]] in her [[VideoGame/BlazBlueContinuumShift bad route]]. Relius's ultimate plan is to become "[[AGodAmI The Architect]]": After ridding the world of all humans, he will repopulate it with his perfect dolls, decree Arakune as the new Black Beast, and Ignis as the new Master Unit.

* SnarkBait: For its infamous ContinuityLockout, a cast that's [[ButtMonkey butt monkeys]] at best and straight-up unlikeable at worst, and ineffectual heroes who frequently hold the IdiotBall and/or [[ShootTheShaggyDog unwittingly advance the villains' plans]] thus leading to DarknessInducedAudienceApathy for several folks. If discussions aren't about gameplay, then it's to poke fun at the story.

** Japanese fans just can't get enough of Celica A. Mercury for the same reasons as Noel. A sizable chunk of Western fans, however, wish she could jump up her own ass and die.

** Jubei is one of the most requested [=NPCs=] to be a playable character, and probably ''the'' most requested now that Makoto and Valkenhayn are playable. It helps that he's now the only one of the Six Heroes who's still alive that hasn't been confirmed as a playable character.

** Relius, with the wake of the anti-Hazama protests (that Hazama becomes too oversaturated and nearing Villain Sue territory), becomes one, thanks to not yet being oversaturated. As well as his Astral and jokes about him being a [[Memes/StreetFighter "family man"]].

* GameBreaker: To start with, all the unlimited characters. Essentially, these are alternate forms of the characters that take their advantages and crank them straight UpToEleven. For example, Ragna is in constant Blood Kain with a larger health bar (AND no life reduction), all of Jin's specials are the drive variant with no meter cost, Arakune can instantly curse you and his bees are almost the size of Carl, and Tager gains two spark bolts and a greater magnetism radius. But the real "fun" starts with Hazama, who has a perpetual green aura surrounding him. Should you touch this, you will lose health as long as you are in contact with it. And all of that health you lose? Yeah Hazama gains that much added to his own health meter. Oh, and guess what? Remember that short-ranged special that stuns the opponent? Well, now it automatically chains into the second part of his super autocombo. [[OhCrap For no heat cost]]. And it's unblockable. If he gets too close to you, consider a quarter of your life bar gone.
** The first game has its resident RobotGirl, Nu-13. When played in melee (as in the 2009 Arcade Infinity finals) she's balanced (somewhat - the reach and priority on her C-attacks is far better than they should be). However an expert Nu player will use her knockback and teleport moves to avoid melee at all costs. Staying at range lets her play defensively, and abuse her absurd projectile combos. While Franchise/BlazBlue's system does penalize excessive defensive play, Nu is allowed to stay defensive longer than any other character before being penalized. Longer even than Hakumen, who's meant to play a defensive/counterattack game.

** [[MemeticMutation ICE]] [[FanNickname CAR]] JIN, anyone?
*** While extremely annoying, Jin "MUSOU!" Kisaragi can be countered much more easily than the above setups [[SkillGateCharacters with some practice]].
*** Ice Car must have been nerfed in ''Continuum Shift'', because now all Jin does is spam his ice swords until he gets a health advantage and then run away waiting for the time to run out.
** In the second game, the Game Breaker award goes to Litchi and Hazama for their insane juggle combos.

** Continuum Shift Extend gives you Platinum the Trinity. Platinum's projectiles are very ''very'' annoying if you cannot properly counter and predict her attacks... wait, it's both he and she. That cat face missile is huge. And by the time you recover from blocking or from being hit by the missile, she/he has another set of three ready to fire. You don't really need MoreDakka when those projectiles are about one-third the height of the entire stage.
** Even the third game is not safe. Say hello to Kokonoe, whose assorted setups, "touch of death" combos (many of which were discovered within the first day of her release as DLC), chip damage and overpowered attacks have invoked deliberations towards banning her from competitive play until she gets balanced. This goes so far as to tracking down the [=PSNs=] of known Kokonoe mains ''to outright block or avoid'' at this time. Some have even gone so far as to put her in her own tier in 1.0 tier lists. Not since the days of [[VideoGame/GuiltyGear #Reload Eddie]] has a character in an Arc System Works game been considered ''that far'' above and beyond the rest of the cast.
*** Even after being nerfed in the arcade patch (Version 1.1), Kokonoe is still considered to be one of the best characters in the game. The only difference is that now she has to share a spot with others.
** Nine in the fourth game, about the same as her daughter. It's on how she has a lot of really useful moves, such as 2 wakeup setup moves (one of which is hard to block due to ambiguously hitting mid or low), teleporting as a normal move, long-ranged attacks that instantly reaches the length of the screen, those that covers a lot of the screen, a special that tracks the opponent anywhere, a potent laser beam DD and, yup, a "touch of death" combo (involving chaining 2 of her [=DDs=] together in Overdrive, but still).

* JustHereForGodzilla: Many fans of this game will admit to you that they only play this game because of [[BreakoutVillain Hazama]]. And not Terumi, just Hazama.
* LoveToHate: Terumi. The fans mostly agree that his actions are despicable, but it's just amusing to see him in action due to his crass personality, his cool design, his sadistic fighting moves and how his VA is having a good time portraying him. Though how you like him depends on how funny you find his trolling (which is mainly applied to Hazama more than Terumi).

* NeverLiveItDown: Oh boy.
** Ragna is having a hard time living down his reputation as an unrepentant mass murderer despite his [[JerkassWoobie horrible past]] and [[JerkWithAHeartOfGold hidden golden heart]]. Or, alternatively, fans sometimes forget that he's a badass mass-murderer and thinks that he's a complete joke who tries too hard to be cool (see MemeticLoser above).

** Poor Litchi is becoming very much like [[Manga/{{Bleach}} Orihime]], one [[ForcedIntoEvil unwilling]] FaceHeelTurn due to a nasty, near unavoidable SadisticChoice and she's forever marked as 'idiot', 'never a good person', 'utterly selfish and obsessed' regardless of the tons of genuinely good things she did in the past. Even moreso after in CP she helped out Relius carry out his borderline-omnicidal plan, which causes some to completely forget about her past kindness and [[BeingEvilSucks her actual misery on doing it]] even if she's not showing it clearly. What makes this worse for her was that in CF, despite Litchi ''clearly'' showing that she wasn't even pleased at her own actions for helping Relius and distancing herself from the bad guys once she had more control of herself, that particular title [[NoDubForYou was not dubbed]], so there's a lot of Western fans that never knew that Litchi still really retained her good morals when the opportunity was presented to her, all they see her is "Someone who'd help destroy the world as long as she gets what she wants." which was what was seen in the CP main story, the lowest spot (but not the LAST) she has ever been in.[[labelnote:Also]]The next game also revealed some unsavory nature about the world which might give justifications on some who desired to 'destroy' the world, Litchi included. The lack of dub prevents these players from realizing.[[/labelnote]]
** No matter what CharacterDevelopment hit him, whatever true enemy he realizes, he can fight for justice, try to be a better man, but Bang's ArchEnemy is always going to be Jin.

* RonTheDeathEater:
** Tsubaki gets this is a number of quarters. While she has topped popularity polls in Japan, and is in many respects one of the nicer characters in the franchise, particularly in the West her detractors refuse to forgive her actions during ''Continuum Shift'', even if she attempts to make up for it in ''Central Fiction''. She also gets in the way of the IncestYay shippers pairing her crush Jin with either Ragna or Noel. Observe the {{Flanderisation}} as her good traits get neglected in favour of the whole {{Yandere}} thing.
** Litchi gets this treatment somewhat too. Substitute Jin with Arakune and Tsubaki's "Notice me, Sempai!" with Litchi's guilt trip and several ill-informed decisions she makes as a result, and the effect is the same.

* StopHavingFunGuys: ''Izanami.'' Fighting her almost makes you want to re-evaluate your life choices up to this point.

* MagnificentBastard: [[MadScientist Relius Clover]], "The Puppeteer", is the brilliant alchemist and colonel of [=NOL=]. Originally known as The One, leader of the Ten Sages of Ishana, Relius dedicated his intellect to bring the world into a prosperous future. Encountered by [[Characters/BlazBlueYuukiTerumi Yuuki Terumi]], he helped him create [[WeaponOfMassDestruction The Black Beast]]. Getting sucked in by The Black Beast and sent 80 years into future, Relius saw the "True Form" of the human soul and thought it to be simple. Disappointed, Relius believed the only way he could achieve his perfect world was to get rid of humans and replace them with his creations, with himself as "[[AGodAmI The Architect]]". He would found the NOL Military Academy for this purpose, observing the students' hidden potentials before turning them into his perfect dolls; among them were his own wife and daughter Ignis and Ada. Relius, would also manipulated Sector Seven, fellow scientist Kokonoe Mercury, and Litchi Faye-Ling to create the Nox Nyctores Nirvana and the energy core powering all his dolls. Getting betrayed by [[GreaterScopeVillain Hades Izanami]], Relius changes tactics and convince his son Carl to go to the Boundary with him on the pretense he can cure his sister Ada. Upon arriving to the Boundary, Relius abandons Carl before watching with content Hades and Terumi's downfall, knowing that he himself has [[KarmaHoudini escaped karmic retribution]] and can always resume with his plan.

* PlayTheGameSkipTheStory: Many fans consider the plot too complex and hard to understand, not helped by the supplementary materials that never released outside Japan, and so they prefer to ignore it and focus on the core of the game--the fighting itself.

* ShippingGoggles: A few people who read the ''Remix Heart'' manga toyed with the idea of [[TallDarkAndHandsome Jin Kisaragi]] and [[ShyBlueHairedGirl Mai Natsume]] together. One of the most likely reasons is that the appearance of Jin and Mai resembles that of [[OfficialCouple Ky x Dizzy]] in VideoGame/GuiltyGear. This has no basis in the story though, as Jin seems indifferent to Mai and Mai finds him intimidating.

* RetroactiveRecognition: This is possibly one of the earliest titles that featured the seiyuu Creator/AoiYuuki, playing as Platinum the Trinity. Back in those days, Platinum's BaseBreakingCharacter traits probably made her a little more dismissed. Little did people back in the days know that afterwards, she would play the extremely influental [[Franchise/MadokaMagica Madoka Kaname]] and went on to become one of the most well known seiyuus in UsefulNotes/TheNewTens, rivaling even the main star of this series (Creator/TomokazuSugita as Ragna). Anybody coming to this franchise fresh after viewing Madoka might be in for a surprise when encountering Platinum and realizing "Creator/AoiYuuki did this ''brat'' before Madoka!?"

** SelfDemonstrating/YuukiTerumi, the BigBad, is in reality [[spoiler:Susanoo, a god subordinate to [[GreaterScopeParagon Master Unit: Amaterasu]], his "sister"]]. Developing an intense hatred towards Amaterasu for being under her will, he has dedicated his life to [[EvilIsPetty spiting]] and [[DestroyerDeity destroying]] her and her creations, including humans. Although Terumi is one of the Six Heroes, he was never on their side, having been brainwashed by [[TheArchmage Nine's]] Ruby: Mind Eater, because he knew the most about the [[PersonOfMassDestruction world-ending Black Beast]], his own creation. Terumi paid Nine back by shoving her into the [[EldritchLocation Boundary]] along with her friend Trinity Glassfille. Much later, he burns down the church housing [[TheHero Ragna]], [[{{Deuteragonist}} Jin]], and their sister [[LivingMacguffin Saya]], taking the latter with him while making sure [[AnArmAndALeg Ragna's arm was cut off by Jin]]. The founder of both the NOL and Sector Seven, Terumi's been RunningBothSides in order to meet his own ends, including the appointment of [[GreaterScopeVillain Hades Izanami]] to Imperator. His list of atrocities include being responsible for Lotte Carmine's current condition as [[BodyHorror Arakune]], and then [[ShameIfSomethingHappened using that]] to [[ForcedIntoEvil coax Litchi Faye-Ling to the path of evil]]; {{mind rap|e}}ing Noel Vermillion into becoming [[WeaponOfMassDestruction Mu, the Godslayer]]; [[BreakTheCutie breaking]] Tsubaki Yayoi's spirit; harvesting the souls of a bunch of NOL soldiers to power up the Cauldron; disabling Takamagahara by having Phantom, a brainwashed Nine, implant a magical virus in the system; and assisting Relius Clover and Izanami in enacting "[[TheEndOfTheWorldAsWeKnowIt Doomsday]]." Defined by [[{{Sadist}} sadism]] and [[SmugSnake arrogance]], his ultimate goal is to obtain the True Azure and become a being greater than Amaterasu, destroy all the worlds and timelines, and [[RestartTheWorld create one world]] where all living things are in fear and despair because [[EmotionEater hatred sustains his life]], something he wouldn't have any other way.
