* NightmareFuel:
** Zombozo's new, corpse-like design, which, if you look closely, you can see his ''ribs'' and some flesh that appears to be falling off of his body on his face. Then by "Something Zombozo This Way Comes", all the time he has spent without feeding himself has left him reduced to an emaciated corpse.
** Malware really upped the ante by [[spoiler:[[MoralEventHorizon destroying Galvan B.]]]]
** The fifth story arc, subtitled Galactic Monsters, is pretty much guaranteed to be full of this, as if that wasn't obvious by the theme song being modified with a G-Major-esque reverb.
** Vilgax's Malware Armor. Not only does it make him look downright demonic, there's the fact he's basically ''wearing Malware's corpse''.
** Just the sheer fact that the universe actually comes to an end in "So Long and Thanks for All the Smoothies" as we witness all reality being torn asunder. The only reason it even gets REBUILT not saved but REBUILT is because Ben had to really beg the apathetic Serena and Bellilicus to do so. Think of it this way: all the characters we knew from the last 3 shows? ARE DEAD! These are just copies, and Ben couldn't get the universe 100% 1 to 1...

** Feedback is this trope in the eyes of some fans; he is introduced as being Ben's favorite alien when he was 11, despite the Original Series clearly establishing Fourarms as Ben's favorite back in the original series's era. Few reasons about why Ben likes him so much are given, with him simply saying he is "[[CharacterShilling cool and awesome]]" or mentioning "he felt like he was a part of me" (It was hinted in "Showdown, Part 2" that [[spoiler:the form had an addictive effect on him]], but [[TheyWastedAPerfectlyGoodPlot this was never explored further]]). He also tends to be conveniently [[ManOfKryptonite remarkably effective to defeat a lot of specifically powerful opponents]], to the point of almost becoming a DeusExMachina (such as when he turns out to be the ideal alien to defeat [[spoiler:Argost]], or when he manages to defeat Ultimate Humongousaur easily, [[FridgeLogic even though Ultimate Humongousaur's abilities aren't energy-related]]). One of the most infamous examples is the series finale, where [[spoiler:he somehow proves a more effective form to contain Maltruant's DoomsdayDevice than ''[[CrystalDragonJesus Chromastone]]'' and ''[[RealityWarper Alien X]]''.]] To some fans, it just feels like the writers were trying ''way'' too hard to turn him into an EnsembleDarkhorse.

Spelling/grammar fix(es)

** The show received complaints for its DenserAndWackier tone and art style, drastic changes to established characterisation and over reliance on original series nostalgia. All of which can be ascribed to ''WesternAnimation/TransformersAnimated'', by much of the same creative minds. The difference is that Animated properly entered CerebusSyndrome where appropriate, was a reboot, allowing the changes to be more accepted and the references were seen as a fresh take, considering how drastically different every previous TF incarnation was (and G1 purists had felt burned by ''Film/Transformers2007'' wasn’t exactly like the cartoon). But ''Omniverse'' being a sequel series that was supposed to build on the original, ''Alien Force'' and ''Ultimate Alien'' made these flaws more difficult to ignore

** Similar to its spiritual predecessor [[WesternAnimation/TransformersAnimated]], there were a lot of [[https://www.reddit.com/r/Ben10/comments/mskjin/the_4x4_horsemen_of_the_omniverse_chins/ jokes]] about the use of LanternJawOfJustice in the designs.
