* HilariousInHindsight:
** Creator/TimCurry provides the voice of a servant and ultimately an antagonist of the Beast in this film. A year later, he would provide the voice of the Beast himself in the English dub of the Russian animated film ''The Scarlet Flower''.
** Creator/HaleyJoelOsment would reunite with the ''Beauty and the Beast'' cast in the ''Franchise/KingdomHearts'' games, but voicing Sora instead of Chip.

* AccidentalInnuendo: Fife's "I'd do anything for a solo!" Made worse by his voice actor being [[NeverLiveItDown Paul]] [[CaughtWithYourPantsDown Reubens]]. Forte's response to this line is not helping. Just the way Creator/TimCurry says it. "Yes... I ''[[DoesThisRemindYouOfAnything know]]''."

* SoOkayItsAverage: Many consider it to be one of the better Disney sequels, and Creator/TimCurry certainly does a good job as the villain, but that doesn’t stop it from being yet another standard Christmas movie.

* FridgeBrilliance: Why does Forte try to [[MusicalAssasin tear down the castle with his playing]] when he has his VillainousBreakdown? Because he's a pipe organ -- he's quite literally [[StealthPun pulling out all the stops]]!

** "[[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W-NuCiPmUJc As Long as There's Christmas]]" itself is no slouch, either, sung by almost everyone in the cast as they decorate the castle. The [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NhbFDvmyITc reprise]], led by Angelique, is also quite beautiful.

* EvilIsCool: Forte is considered one of the better Disney sequel villains due to his design and being voiced by Tim Curry.

* {{Sequelitis}}: Well, midquelitis, anyway. While the film itself is probably one of the better so-called Disney "cheapquels", [[ToughActToFollow it's kind of hard to go from the pinnacle of the entire Disney Renaissance to a film that can be summed up as]] [[WebVideo/TheNostalgiaChick "Belle and the Beast defeat an evil gay organ and save Christmas."]]

* BigLippedAlligatorMoment:
** The song "[[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zwYZg_Y1ORI A Cut Above The Rest]]" comes right out of nowhere and stops as soon as The Beast enters. It also has a bizarrely happy tone considering they’re locked in a dungeon.
** "[[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B0C8sL89YYo Don't Fall in Love]]". Forte just suddenly starts singing it to convince Beast not to go after Belle, [[DisneyAcidSequence evil cupids he creates from his music keep trying to kill Beast]], and Beast leaves anyway as soon as the song ends, so it was entirely pointless other than to give Creator/TimCurry a VillainSong and have him scream "HELL!" Though, admittedly, that's actually a pretty good excuse; it'd be a crime to have Tim Curry play a villain and ''not'' give him a VillainSong.

* RescuedFromTheScrappyHeap: For some, when Angelique realized and admitted Belle was right, and sang the reprise of "As Long As There's Christmas."

* TheScrappy: Angelique. All she does is {{wangst}}.

* {{Wangst}}: Most of it comes from Beast and [[TheScrappy Angelique]], who unlike the Beast has less of an emotional connection with the audience enough to lessen the reception to his grief.

* UncannyValley: [[IntendedAudienceReaction Done intentionally]] with Forte's [[TwoDVisualsThreeDEffects CG model]] to set him apart from the rest of the hand-drawn cast.

* TastesLikeDiabetes: With lines like "Christmas that year was spent exchanging humble gifts, but the greatest gift that anyone received was the gift of hope."
