* JerkassWoobie: Delancy, when you realize she's not just an AlphaBitch -- she's been suffering for years from the stress [[RichBitch Dame Devin]] places on her to be a proper princess and to not screw up, and generally [[PuppetKing seems to be very subservient to her mother]]. It gets even worse when Delancy begins to consider the evidence that her mom is planning something, and finally culminates in Delancy rightfully crowning Blair as the true princess... which only results in Dame Devin calling Delancy a "[[AbusiveParents useless child]]" before [[AccidentalPublicConfession spilling the beans on her real plan]], resulting in her arrest.

* UnnecessaryMakeover: The amazed look Blair gives to the RoyalSchool [[http://static1.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20130623112153/barbie-movies/images/thumb/7/7b/Blair_School_Uniform_18.bmp_2.jpg/237px-Blair_School_Uniform_18.bmp_2.jpg uniform]] that her [[http://static1.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20121114013358/barbie-movies/images/thumb/4/41/Blair_W.png/162px-Blair_W.png waitress attire]] [[GorgeousGarmentGeneration was just]] [[TransformationSequence transformed into]] is rather odd, mainly because both outfits are nearly identical. While some elements of the uniform are more detailed (the skirt gains a plaid pattern and the socks go from ankle to knee length), it otherwise looks like Blair just took off her apron and put a vest and tie over the clothes she was already wearing. This is also jarring from a narrative perspective, as the fact that she dressed like a princess even before attending the school contradicts her being a FishOutOfWater due to her [[InformedPoverty impoverished upbringing]] and ExtremeDoormat personality.

* AlternativeCharacterInterpretation: Why exactly Delancy decided to help Blair to prove she was princess Sophia, despite she could not stand her until then? Delancy 's opinion about becoming the next sovereign is never revealed, contrary to Fergis in WesternAnimation/BarbieThePearlPrincess, the cousin of the PrincessProtagonist who states out loud he don't want to be king. It could be, like Delancy said, because she wanted what's right. And probably Delancy thought with fondness of her cousin Sophia as a kid, wishing she could have met her. Or it is that Delancy wanted to avoid the humiliation of being revealed by the magic crown of Gardania as not being the rightful heir to the throne in public? The crown would not shine on Delancy's head if Sophia was alive, and she maybe wished to avoid the embarrassment.

Delancy 's opinion about becoming the next sovereign is Princess Sophia are never revealed, contrary fully explained, leaving the audience to speculate. Is it really because it was the right thing to do, as Delancey said? Is it because, like Fergis in WesternAnimation/BarbieThePearlPrincess, ''[[WesternAnimation/BarbieThePearlPrincess The Pearl Princess]]'', Delancey never really wanted the throne and was only being pressured into taking it by her mother? It is because Delancey felt some lingering fondness for the cousin of she never met and seized on the PrincessProtagonist who states out loud he don't chance to potentially find her? Or did she just want to be king. It could be, like Delancy said, because she wanted what's right. Both of the puffed-sleeves shirts are identical, the hot pink pumps also look the same as before, both skirts are of the very same shade of bright pink, she ''already'' wore girly bows and frilly socks as a waitress... it's like she was already used to looking like a princess before, in contradiction with her [[InformedPoverty poverty]] and ExtremeDoormat personality.
