** The author repeatedly goes out of her way to tell us that Frollo is kind and loving, despite everything he's done in the [[Literature/TheHunchbackOfNotreDame the original source material]], which included [[KickTheDog kicking an unarmed woman to death]], [[WouldHurtAChild trying to drown a baby]], molesting a woman in a church, and setting fire to a house with a family locked inside.

* HilariousInHindsight: The story's portrayal of Frollo is actually fairly accurate to how he was in the original novel - although it's still a lot more charitable.

* FridgeHorror: In her author's notes, FrolloFreak tells the readers that she based a trio of her [=OCs=] off of [[WriteWhoYouKnow former students]]. Two of these characters happen to [[KilledOffForReal die horribly]]...

* MoralEventHorizon: FrolloFreak wants us to think the Gypsies kidnapping Frollo and trying to mess up his good name is this. The real Moral Event Horizon is Danisha leading a group of people to burn down the Court of Miracles and gun down the Gypsies for it all, effectively attempting a genocide.
* RonTheDeathEater: Esmerelda, and Clopin.

* UnfortunateImplications: Esmeralda is punished for spurning Frollo's advances. Danisha even tells her that she should have put out for Frollo and that she deserves to be tortured. The (hopefully) unintended message: if a man whom you do not want to have sex with propositions you, you should give in regardless of how you really feel. She also cheers Frollo on when he arrests Esmeralda and has her dragged away to be tortured, implying that it's perfectly OK for an attempted rapist to torture his victim.
** There's also the fact that the author apparently believes "Gypsy" is synonymous with "criminal".
** NWordPrivileges or not, the "down-on-de-ole-plantation" dialect Danisha frequently breaks out is just bad on so many levels.
** Then there's the portrayal of Quasimodo, which is almost insultingly ableist; the fic paints him as a blissfully unaccountable ManChild who follows Danisha's lead. Danisha's extremely condescending attitude toward him (treating him like a five-year-old, calling him nicknames like "little buddy", etc.) makes it even worse.
** In "What Really Happened", we get to see Danisha leading a bunch of people to burn down the Court of Miracles and gunning down an entire crowd of Gypsies, not leaving a lot afterward. That's right, Danisha leads a genocide against the Roma people because they kidnapped her boyfriend...and it's treated like a ''good'' thing!
*** And if you thought that was bad, Danisha once had a FilkSong set to the "Feel Like I'm Fixin' to Die Rag" about committing genocide against the Roma posted on her site. It was subsequently taken down, presumably for being racist by even her standards.
