Breeze was available, and the powers that be probably decided that five years in developmental was long enough.

* UnexpectedCharacter: Spent seemingly ''forever'' in developmental (five years, to be exact) only to get yanked up to the main roster during the fall (not a traditional call-up season) completely without warning or preamble and immediately begin feuding with Dolph Ziggler. A few weeks later, he was actually in a tournament for the vacated world championship, for his debut match no less. [[spoiler:Unfortunately, his first opponent was Dean Ambrose, so he didn't last extremely long. [[note]]Besides Ambrose being upper midcard/main event, the reason for the tournament was because Seth Rollins got injured right before he was supposed to defend against former teammate Roman Reigns. Dean was all but guaranteed to make it to the semi-finals at least, since if the fans weren't get the Rolleigns feud, they were all but demanding that WWE finally give them the Ambreigns feud they had been wanting for a while (Dean and Roman have not wrestled a singles match against each other at all during their time together on the main roster). It was probably the only legit title match they could have with enough drama to match the original title match they were planning[[/note]]]].
