* PecksFlex: It's 2016 and the body guy is more cut than ever. His love for showing off lead to the an indecisive finish with Mr. 450, leaving the WWC Universal Title vacant ''again'' in September. He almost failed to regain it later in the month, having 450 beaten several times but being too busy bent over the ropes to give the audience a better look at his abs/biceps to realize it.

* BattleStrip: Early on in his career. And [[CheapPop the response to it]] would threaten to blow a hole in the roof.

* RealLifeWritesThePlot: Carlito lost the US title back to John Cena because he needed to take time off for an injury. He was not removed from WWE television but he did not do any wrestling for months, the onscreen explanation being "punishment" from general manager Theodore Long.

* BatmanGambit: Carlito poisoned the apple he usually eats, knowing Wrestling/{{The Big Show}} was going to beat him up and knowing Show could not resist spitting apple chunks all over Carlito the way Carlito usually does to other people. If Big Show had simply not decided to take Carlito's apple, he would not have been poisoned.

** With Ray González whenever they have the opportunity to face Thunder And Lightning. Otherwise González prioritizes fighting Colóns. Ray González has also teamed with Carlito to fight Invader #1 and Invader #1 has teamed with Carlito to fight Ray González.

* HeWhoFightsMonsters: As of March 2015, he basically became what Ray González was when he debuted to fight him. He even started bullying González's son.

* ShmuckBait: After running down why a peace offering Rico Casanova wasn't cool before challenging Tokyo Monster Kahagas for the CCW Heavyweight Championship, Carlito said he would give Casanova a chance to defend himself, to explain to all the people why he was in fact cool. Guess what happened as soon as Rico began speaking?

* YouHaveFailedMe: He gave Rico Casanova backstabber for accidentally costing him his War Championship defense against Pablo Marquez at a Coastal Championship Wrestling Event.

* EvilIsPetty: After Carlito and La Revolución injured Ray González in a cage, Carlito went into Rayting Minimarket and started to rearrange the merchandise.

* WorkedShoot: The WWC's face book page was full of scathing criticism of then new promotion the World Wrestling League, a week before Carlito, one of the WWC owners, started working from the WWL and eventually became a contender for their top title. It had to be an act unless someone was purposefully trying to get fired.
