** WithFriendsLikeThese: When Sendai Girls paired her with Heidi Katrina for ''Big Show In Osaka'' La Rosa had no mercy for her regular partners Mio Momono and Hana Kimura. Momono was being her usual [[IShallTauntYou disrespectful self]] but poor Kimura was on her best behavior.

* AscendedFanboy: She was singled out among WWC's audience by Rico Suave, who told her she had a good body for wrestling and {{dare|tobebadass}}d her to try it. * CanonDiscontinuity: For as much of a canon authority Black Rose is anyway. She's technically won WWC's Women's Title belt four times but seems to consider her second reign an extension of her first, or maybe her fourth an extension of her third.

** Despite Valkyrie's SHINE 18 attack, she addressed returning member Taylor Made professionally before SHINE 21. Then Rosa and Noemi Bosques were assaulted by April Hunter while Made got brass knuckles...six Shines later Rosa and Made were fighting on ladder to get brass knuckles on a pole...

* TheCameo: Even when not under contract with WWC, Black Rose could sometimes be seen in the crowd cheering on El Bronco #1. Also, while wrestling for IWA Puerto Rico she appeared in some [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jlLn0iYPfJc&oref=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.youtube.com%2Fwatch%3Fv%3DjlLn0iYPfJc&has_verified=1 ads]] for Exotic Fitness Studio's pole dancing classes. She's briefly appeared on Wrestling/RingOfHonor television due to her friendship with Wrestling/SumieSakai and Kris Wolf.

She expressed affection for Japan the moment she arrived for World Wonder Ring STARDOM from LLF. At the same time there were several aspects of the culture she bulldozed through, such as when she encountered sushi and {{co|micallymissingthepoint}}pletely missed the point, storing it to cook later as a fish salad.

* AdvertisedExtra: Almost all the Carib talent were initially this in Ring Warriors. To be fair to Ring Warriors in this instance, their first show was the same month the La Rosa came to the continental US. However, when La Rosa continued to not get booked and Ring Warriors did not include her on the bracket to become the first Battling Bombshells Champion, La Rosa [[NoFourthWall crashed]] the first Ring Warriors Bahamas show in Nassau and challenged the winner of the first round match between Santana Garrett and Sienna Duvall. Ring Warriors gave Negra an [[GimmickMatches empty arena]] exhibition match with Duvall, and after she won scrapped the entire tournament and decided the first champion in a three way dance between Duvall, Negra and Wrestling/SuYung. Naturally she was advertised ''and'' booked as champion.

* FriendlyEnemy: Infernal KAORU frequently tries to one up Oedo~tai and her W-Fix stable is opposed by Mabutachi 2 Manjimanji. Still KAORU first met La Rosa as a teammate in spite of her affiliations. When they inevitably had matches against each other Rosa could never do better than a draw, and voiced frustration with KAORU [[GarbageWrestler always hitting her with foreign objects]]. KAORU responded [[AffablyEvil by invinting La Rosa out to dinner]]. La Rosa accepted, deciding to leave their differences in the ring.

** Her pleas for a SHINE 24 match were repeatedly denied after displaying "concussion like symptoms" due to multiple brass knuckle strikes from Taylor Made. She had the same attitude after being injured by Malia Hosaka and Leilani Kai but relented and stuck to managing Amanda Rodriguez.

** She and Wrestling/AmazingKong were temporarily setup as such to the Backseat Girlz. Annie Social being another small[[PintSizedPowerhouse ish]] wrestler just as well known for managerial duty and The Amazing one called into PWS specifically to keep Missy Sampson away from La Rosa Negra.

* GimmickMatches: To name a few, Black Rose beat [[Wrestling/IvelisseVelez Sexy Juliette]] in an NWS [[MudWrestling mud pool]] match and then had to wrestle José Chaparro right after it. NWS also gave her a hardcore rules match with Demonique, IWA gave her one with Amazona, along with a Lumberjack match. WWC gave her a steel cage match with Génesis and a broom match with La Bella Carmen. U Know Pro, a triple threat steel cage with Didi Cruz and Angel Rose.

* GirlyBruiser: She'll gladly take a hit but she'll be livid if you take her hair iron or extensions, or mistake her [[InsistentTerminology extensions]] for a weave.

* HorribleJudgeOfCharacter: She keeps trustiing {{jerkass}}es like Josie, Niya and Shanna in SHINE, which Lenny Leonard pointed out while Brandi Lauren beat her up. The only time it worked out was with Ivelisse.

** La Morena consistently for most of her career. Black Rose had been associated with Dominicans but was teaming with La Zona Illegal when Morena valeted for The Dominican Revolution. Despite the usual opposition, they did trust each other's words at face value.

* SympathyForTheHero She first met "La Chica de la Actitud" Roxxy as an opponent to support Sweet Nancy, who had betrayed Roxxy in EWO. When Amazona also betrayed Roxxy on Vanilla Varga's behalf in WWC though, Black Rose decided to even the odds for her. When Vargas was gone, Rose declared WWC her territory and went back to fighting Roxxy.

* DanceSensation: Lead many friends and fans in the Harlem Shake at Women Of Wrestling Puerto Rico. Shawn Prime led an attack to prevent her from doing the same in Future Of Wrestling.

* {{Cameo}}: Even when not under contract with WWC, Black Rose could sometimes be seen in the crowd cheering on El Bronco #1. * {{Determinator}}: Rosa received a concussion from a Su Yung power bomb that left her unable to stand for more than a few seconds at a time but managed to finish the match with a frog splash before falling out of the ring. She got up and attempted to walk out of the arena with her Battling Bombshells belt several times, managing to get beyond the curtain before referee Frankie Gastineau came to her aid. Then there was ''STARDOM Appeal The Heart #2'' where catching Datura in midair appeared to break Rosa's knee but she came back from a suplex to finish Datura with a death valley bomb and frog splash on one leg. Then at the hospital it was revealed both knees were broken, Rosa had just stood, jumped and hoisted up her opponent on one of them anyway!

* HeelFaceRevolvingDoor: We could have limited ourselves to this topic and still filled a whole page on her. Even limiting examples to Florida, she ''started'' {{tweener}} in the NWA, in behavior and audience responses. Adding New Jersey, she became "double champion" and defended one belt primarily as a {{face}} and the other primarily as a {{heel}}.

La Rosa Negra later wrestled in the continental USA for then Wrestling/{{N|ationalWrestlingAlliance}}WA member Ring Warriors, where she was the first to hold their Battling Bombshells Title and represented them with it in various Canadian, Dominican and Bolivian promotions. She also won the Pro Wrestling Syndicate Bombshells title and later became the first holder of the PWS Bombshells Majestic title. She was also supported by local Florida boxer Noemi Bosques in SHINE, Mexico's LLF, several Japanese promotions, including winning the High Speed Championship belt at World Wonder Ring STARDOM and won the CWS Women's belt back in Puerto Rico.

* CookingDuel: Black Rose did not just strive to be a better wrestler than Barbie Boy, but also to outdo him in the art of dance. Sojourner Bolt coxed her into a dance off at SHINE… [[ExploitedTrope and then took La Rosa Negra by the hair while her back was turned.]] "Portugal's Perfect Athlete" Shanna failed to live up to her moniker when she competed with La Rosa at anything other than wrestling.

* FinishingMove: Makes use of the rarely seen leg cradle. Rare for cradles themselves, she uses it as a submission rather than a pin, but it makes sense in action. More commonly, La Rosa Negra uses a frog splash (sometimes called the Rose or Scorpion Splash after her tattoo).

** Mio Momono brought her into Mabutachi 2 Manjimanji to wrestle Maruko Nagasaki and Kyuri for control of the group in Marvelous.
* ProductPlacement: La Rosa Negra's attempted response to upstart Amber Rodriguez's trash talk in English [[EloquentInMyNativeTongue did not go so well]], leading Amber waving a box of Eggo Waffles at the camera and Rosa on Google looking up how to pronounce ''ego''.

** Sweet Nancy's initial part in Morena's campaign against Black Rose gave way to a long lasting [[FireForgedFriends friendship forged]] out of mutual dislike for Amazona. The friendship's strained under competition for belts and broke in CWS where Nancy took out her martial frustrations on Rose before title matches were even brought up.

** Generally remained friendly with Su Yung, even though Yung kept stretching the rules during their matches, up until Yung went [[SanitySlippage off the deep end]] and joined Valkyrie.

* LookBehindYou: While La Rosa was injured, [=VALkyrie=] tried to hinder Las Sicarias by [[FriendOrIdolDecision abducting her]]. La Rosa's contribution to Las Sicarias' [[{{revenge}} retaliation strike]]/[[BigDamnHeroes rescue]] of [[Wrestling/PrincessKimberlee Kimber Lee]] was to poke Andrea in the back and then quickly hobble away. Andrea found La Rosa laughing in her face as Velez and ACR floored the rest of her stable.
