* WhamEpisode: [[spoiler: After a year being stuck on a supposedly deserted planet. TOM and Sara find out the base their on is actually part of a dormant ship just in time before finding out that the planet is set to be destroyed thanks to the Worms' warning finally getting through to the two. However the Worms know they can't be saved as the ship isn't heavy enough to carry all of them, but request the duo take their youngest with them. They agree and get off planet just as the planet implodes on itself. While bittersweet, TOM and Sara have a new spaceship to travel on and even a new companion to boot.]]

A year since the end of part II [[spoiler: which ended with Tom being forced to destroy the Absolution to kill the Blob monster,]] TOM and Sara are still on Shogo 162 boardcasting the Toonami block from the planet while hoping for any nearby rescue. However one day while milling around, a vicious sandstorm sweeps through the planet with TOM barely able to get back to base in time. However it turned out that the planet, which Sara and he though uninhabited, happened to be the home of native sand worms who follow him back to base. Thus TOM once more finds himself tangling with unwanted intruders.
