** In "Beware of the Mudblups", when the Trio are
in the land Great Desert, a geologic fault called Trembly Fault causes an earthquake that splits the ground wide open.
--->'''Gimmick:''' It's Trembly Fault.
--->'''Grubby:''' Well, that's a relief. I was afraid it was something ''I'' did.
** In "The Faded Fobs", while Tweeg is reading a book about villainy, the following exchange happens:
--->'''L.B.:''' Hey, [[MaliciousMisnaming Twizzle]], what's that book called again?\\
'''Tweeg:''' You've got a memory as long as your arms, L.B. ''So You Want to Be a Villain?''\\
'''L.B.:''' I do?\\
'''Tweeg:''' No, no, no! That's the title
of Grundo. Once the book, you brainless Bounder!
** In "The Mushroom Forest", we meet creatures called "Nothings" (later renamed "Anythings"), which confuses the Trio when
they get there, ask them what they meet are. And if that isn't confusing enough, their names are This, That, and befriend Professor Gimmick, a Grundo native who helps them understand the strange land they're venturing into.The Other. "The other what?"

Cloning Blues renamed to Clone Angst as per TRS, specifically about angst from a character discovering that they're a clone.

* CloningBlues: In "Double Grubby", a Grubby clone made by Gimmick's machine was constantly arguing with the original.

* InteractiveNarrator: Quite possibly the TropeNamer. The ''New Adventures Of Teddy Ruxpin'' release had a system whereby the ''toy'' was set up as a narrator for the compilation movies using a special audio signal deliberately placed where the video wouldn't play it.

* {{Mordor}}: The patch of the Impassable Mountains where MAVO HQ is situated is perpetually dark and covered in a storm, even when the HatePlague isn't present. It even looks more desolate than the rest of mountain range. Not surprising considering that, barring the Hard-To-Find City, it's the location closest to the [[BadIsGoodGoodIsBad Land of Ying.]]

* PatchworkMap: Grundo has a huge desert, a system of caves, a mountain range, rivers, beaches, cliffs, meadows, farmland, a bog, a volcano, a large lake, a jungle, temperate broadleaf forests, and a FungusHumongous forest. Oh, and apparently a coniferous forest, but it only appears in the books.

* DigitalDestruction: The original remastered version of the show suffered from this at times. In "Octopede Sailors", dirt and hair can be seen on the screen right before we first see Captain Zelza, and there are various audio issues as well (most notably with the song "Freedom" from the Octopede Sailors arc). The 2019 remastered version fixes these errors.
