* HarsherInHindsight: When Wendy's husband Darwin introduces himself to Stan, he says that she has told him a lot about Stan, followed up with "how's everything going with the family". This seems innocuous enough, but we later find out that [[Stan's mother and sister were killed in an incident he was partially responsible for and Stan is estranged from his father as a result.]] Evidently Wendy failed to tell Darwin everything, or she did and he lacked the thoughtfulness to avoid asking such an inconsiderate question.

** Kyle shows shades of this with Cartman, unable to accept the possibility that Cartman has really moved on from his past life and their rivalry, and insisting Cartman's entire adult life as rabbi and family man is an elaborate set-up to humiliate him, personally.

* WhatHappenedToTheMouse: Ike, Timmy, and Towelie don't make an appearance, or are mentioned at all for that matter.

* BaitAndSwitch: When Kyle is on the toilet, Mr. Hankey's {{Main/Leitmotif}} plays, only to have Kyle look down and stare at his completely normal poop.

** When Kyle tells Yentl on why he doesn't trust Cartman, he mentions to her that Cartman gave him AIDS.

* FormerlyFit: The seemingly fit Clyde Donovan is shown to be very pudgy as an adult, although he was [[InformedAttribute described]] as being the 2nd fattest kid in the show.

** Another reason Clyde doesn't want to get the vaccine is because he's allergic to shellfish, and some people who handle the vaccine might have eaten shellfish, contaminating it with "selfishness".
