* AnAesop:
** The ChristmasEpisode has the moral that simple kindness is the best way to get through to a cruel person, rather than some elaborate scheme. Sabrina's attempted spell just makes Gem love herself even more, and she grudgingly admits that she just wanted revenge, not to change Gem for the better. So she ends up giving Gem a real gift and wishing her Merry Christmas anyway. Gem realizes that no one else cared enough to be with her on Christmas, and joins Sabrina and her friends for the celebrations.
** Harvey's RebuiltPedestal for his favorite action hero. He learns that actors are actors and most of the time, they're ordinary people who don't do the fantastic feats we see on camera. But that doesn't mean that they're not capable of great heroics when push comes to shove.
** "Most Dangerous Witch": Just because you were bullied at one point by a certain type of person is no reason to hold a grudge against everyone like that person.
** "Witch Switch": Sabrina believes Gem's life is perfect because of her wealth - only to experience for herself the girl's own difficulties that she kept hidden from the world. The lesson is that no one person's life is perfect, and we shouldn't be fooled by a filtered version of it that we're shown from the outside.
** "The Importance of Being Norma" explores a theme of popularity vs. identity. Sabrina wants to be popular, but feels bad about ditching her golden-hearted nerd friend Norma. She wants to remain friends with Norma, but doesn't want to look uncool in front of the popular girls. When she uses a powerful spell to make Norma popular in the eyes of the other students, it makes Norma miserable because of a {{loss of identity}}. As the spell [[GoneHorriblyRight snowballs into making everyone Norma-zombies forcing Sabrina into being Norma]], what ultimately breaks it is her declaration that she'd rather [[BeYourself be herself]] than be cool [[CharacterDevelopment like she previously wanted]].
** "Anywhere But Here" has Sabrina getting fed up with the restrictions of being a child - being unable to see PG-13 movies, play certain video games or have any independence etc - so she casts a spell to become an adult. She then learns about all the responsibilities that come with it.
** "Witchitis" is about Sabrina learning to face her fear of injections for the sake of her health; especially after she chickens out of her first appointment and ends up contracting a serious illness that she would have otherwise been protected from.

* BrokenAesop:
** The moral of "Moldy Oldie" is basically that it's wrong to deny an elderly person a place in society just because they have so many years of experience, never mind the fact that said elderly person may be senile and/or a danger to himself or others.
** "Anywhere But Here" teaches kids that you’ll never have any problems as a kid or have anything to look forward to as an adult.

''Sabrina: The Animated Series'' is an American cartoon that's an AnimatedAdaptation of the sitcom ''Series/SabrinaTheTeenageWitch'', which itself was already adapted from a comic book by ComicBook/ArchieComics. Being produced by Creator/DiCEntertainment during the time it was owned by Creator/{{Disney}} and having run on Creator/{{ABC}}'s ''[[Creator/OneSaturdayMorningAndABCKids One Saturday Morning]]'' and its weekday afternoon counterpart ''One Too'' on Creator/{{UPN}}, it was oddly treated like it was as much of a show by Disney as the company's actual productions. The reruns on Creator/ToonDisney placed it in the same primetime block as Disney cartoons like ''WesternAnimation/HouseOfMouse'' and ''WesternAnimation/AladdinTheSeries'', even though it was pretty obvious that this was not an actual Disney cartoon. In its original run, the show lasted from September 1999 to February 2000 for a total of 65 episodes.

** Enchantra too. She's clearly drawn to resemble a PG dominatrix.
* HumansAreUgly: A rather odd example, since witches look exactly like humans. Hilda and Zelda are cursed to appear as teenagers for undisclosed reasons. One episode has Zelda bemoan her lost haggard appearance. Hilda does not seem to mind, though, especially since she looks like [[Music/SpiceGirls Victoria Beckham]]. Weidly enough, Enchantra resembles an attractive, young woman, herself. Though it seems to be a cultural thing since age garners respect in the witch community.

This page has a lot of issues, I gave Friends Forever its own space and cleaned up a few bits (The same trope twice in a row? Seriously?)

* AssumedWin: In the MadeForTVMovie ''Sabrina: Friends Forever'', the film's AlphaBitch assumed she'd win an award but Sabrina won.

** In ''Friends Forever'', Sabrina and Nicole plan a journey to a wish-granting tree in the witches' realm so that they can become full witches. Sabrina makes her wish first, and it's granted...she absorbs Nicole's powers, which leaves Nicole mortal and [[TakenForGranite turns her to stone]], since mortals are forbidden from being in the witches' realm.

* BothSidesHaveAPoint: Subverted, in the Anarchy vs rules argument Cassandra appears to like when anarchy breaks out just fine. This seems to show that in a world without rules and order, only the rich and powerful will prosper. But when civilization starts breaking down completely and only cash works (for the foreseeable future at least, robbing Cassandra her leverage) even Cassandra has to admit some sort of rules and order is necessary for society to function.

* FurIsClothing: When Sabrina finally gets her wand in ''Friends Forever'', she temporarily messes with it, causing Salem's fur save for his face to disappear. He later gets GoofyPrintUnderwear when Zelda tells Sabrina "a witch uses magic wisely".

* JerkAssBall: In "Sabrina: Friends Forever", Salem is a lot more of an obnoxious JerkAss, even brushing it off when [[spoiler:Nicole presumably ''dies'']] and attempting to bail upon finding out that they need to [[spoiler:save her.]]

* MagicPants: In "Shrink to Fit" when Sabrina and Chloe are small enough to fit into doll clothing the clothes shrink with them to the point when they became practically microscopic. Which is very odd by the fact that their normal clothes did not shrink with them at all EmptyPilesofClothing

* WhatKindOfLamePowerIsHeartAnyway: Harvey's superheroes in his comic book world don't like their powers which involve - turning into a gazebo to trap villains (Gazebo Boy), Atomic Tantrum Power (Mega Girl) and shooting a squid out of your hands (Calamari Queen).

When she gets home from school, she is also invited to go the Netherworld Hyper Spa over the same weekend as the concert with her aunts, who had to pull some strings to get their reservations. With Salem's advice, Sabrina chooses to go with her aunts but upsets Maritza while doing so. When she wishes things could be different, Wiggles the worm comes in with a magic watch that will allow her to go back in time. Sabrina ignores the manual that comes with it and uses it to be able to go to both events. She uses it to do both events twice and then starts abusing the watch for minor things like getting a better grade on a test or to win a sweepstake. This causes her to age rapidly due to her time-traveling back to the same events too many times. She learns her lesson in the end and goes back to being a teenager.
