Following the events of the fourth season premiere, the show has been renamed "Momma Named me Sheriff"

** If someone stops Mr. Pickles in his plans, they get killed or tortured. If someone was [[BerserkButton being mean to Tommy]], they get killed or tortured. And if someone did nothing, they get killed or tortured.

** Mr. Pickles! He can do as many Satanic acts of pure evil as much as he wants, but the town is oblivious to his actions. The only one who knows about these things is Tommy's Grandfather, who, gets set up and tormented so he can never reveal Mr. Pickles' Satanic intentions. Meanwhile Mr. Pickles sets up performing good acts in front of Tommy and the rest of his family and all he gets is a pickle. [[KickTheSonOfABitch Then again most of his victims aren't very innocent to begin with]], the ones we get to see at least. [[spoiler: This is eventually subverted in the season four premier, where Grandpa outsmarts and [[KarmaHoudiniWarranty kills Mr. Pickles once and for all]]. [[BornAgainImmortality Probably]]]].

* ADateWithRosiePalms: In "Cheeseman", when a couple begins foreplay in the water, and Tommy's grandpa approaches the lake, he stumbles upon an old man watching the couple and masturbating. [[NightmareFetishist He even keeps on masturbating after Mr. Pickles decapitated the girl.]]

* SomethingCompletelyDifferent: Season 2 Episode 6 "A.D.D." Features a show within a show "Astronaut Dolphin Detective", features a drug addicted alcoholic party-going sociopath who is assigned to stop an evil mastermind.

* {{Foreshadowing}}: During the episode ''Gorzoth'' one of the homeless men keeps trying to happily accept the offered alternatives to money, such as food or a job. He is also visibly crippled: lacking his hands. At the end of the episode [[spoiler:He is the only member of the homeless group who is really homeless, the rest are just mooching off of Linda's cash]].

* {{Gonk}}: '''Everbody''' on this show, thanks to the show grotesque art-style.

* AllAdultAnimationIsSouthPark: Taken UpToEleven, with loads of BlackComedyRape, extreme gore, sexual content, and [[ArsonMurderAndJaywalking ugly animation]]. That said, there are hints of a consistent plot, and notably for this type of show it rarely delves into politics.

* MoralityPet: For all of his bloodlust, Mr. Pickles seems to genuinely care for Tommy. He's often seen growling or glaring at anyone who threatens Tommy and goes out of his way to protect him. He also doubles as Tommy's RightHandAttackDog.

** A (seemingly) heroic collie with a young owner named Tommy? Yeah, [[SarcasmMode definitely not]] a parody of ''Franchise/{{Lassie}}''.

* TokenGoodTeammate: The Goodmans are frequently shown to be the only good people in the entire town. Of course, they own Mr. Pickles, so that might balance things out.

* WorldOfBuxom: Every woman on the show has gigantic breasts, though this frequently dips into FanDisservice due to how hideous several of the woman are.
