When tasked by Peppermint Patty to prepare the eggs, Marcie ''fries them''. On the second try, Peppermint Patty instructs Marcie to boil the eggs this time. Marcie boils the water, the proceeds to ''crack open the eggs'' before dumping them into the boiling water.
