''Furry Friends Forever: Elmo Gets a Puppy'' is an animated ''Series/SesameStreet'' special that was released to Creator/HBOMax on August 5, 2021.
When Elmo finds a stray puppy named Tango on the street, he and Grover befriend her and offer to take her to the pet fair at the park so she can be adopted. They visit the other Muppets on the way there, and soon Elmo realizes he himself could be the "forever home" Tango has been searching for.
