He happily goes along with it once Freeze ups the payment.

The '''good''' news: He finds an old colleague, Dr Gregory Belson, who is heavily in debt and desperately in need of a windfall — which Victor can provide, having discovered a large vein of gold in the Arctic. The '''bad''' news: The only thing that can save Nora is an organ transplant, there aren't any deceased donors with her rare blood type, and any living one would die. Victor is undeterred, and the two of them quickly pick a target: [[{{Batgirl}} Barbara Gordon]].

* AnachronicOrder: The film was released in the middle of ''The New Batman Adventures'', but takes place before the TimeSkip and uses the original art style.

** Well, its possible to read that as Benson just using the money as an excuse; he really was disgusted, and the money thing was meant to be a desperate attempt to get out of it. He didn't expect Freeze to actually offer to pay him more and when he did, he falls into JerkJustifications about how much debt he is in and how the money will sort that out. He is never actually ''happy'' to carve Barbara up and just convinces himself (with weak, selfish logic) that it is NecessarilyEvil. He has standards, but he'll swallow them for cash (and, to be fair, he knows Freeze probably wouldn't let him refuse anyway).

** Maybe he did, but that just made her an easier target- the rest were just names and a photograph, but Barbara was someone he could recognize on-sight even without them.
