Nothing at tvtropes mandates that an image has to have a caption. Having just a page image is a perfectly acceptable situation. In this case, "Like nothing she's ever experienced before" is not accurate. She says it is "not unknown for supers to have more than one power when young" so she's aware of that situation. Some of the powers Jack-Jack displays resemble the type of shapeshifting Edna would have seen in Elastigirl plus as designer for the other supers during the Golden Age she would have been exposed to similar powers. Since she was able to build a supersuit that monitored and, in some cases, compensated for Jack-Jack's powers in a single night, she was not starting from scratch and had some previous experience to draw upon for her suit design.

mis-use: the trope is about a scene change that includes a transition mechanism that is some variation of "meanwhile back at...". This can be a audio only like a narrator saying "meanwhile" or "back at the XX" or a visual only mechanism like "meanwhile" or "location name" appearing on screen. While the story listed here is technically taking place in the "meanwhile" zone there's no transition mechanism between it and the main story so this trope doesn't apply.

While Edna didn't know about the vast breath of Jack-Jack's powers when she started, she did have a good idea what she was in for when she volunteered. She knew Jack-Jack was a super with varied, yet undefined powers. The bulk of the evening went well until the cookie incident and even then she didn't panic, she just locked herself in the demo room until Jack-Jack tired herself out.

In a light-hearted moment, Edna calls him a "tiny god" as he's showing off his new supersuit, in reference to his powers. Sh also says it to boost his confidence, like what a designer would say to a model.

Edna makes this quote in response to Jack Jack's catwalk showing off his new super suit. it's the same type of ego-boosting talk you hear in "Project Runway". The quote is not related to his powers..
